Nott'm Forest0 - 1Arsenal

A patient and grueling tactical battle at the City Ground that was eventually unlocked by a moment of individual quality. Forest defended with extreme discipline in the first half under Glasner, frustrating Arsenal and keeping the game goalless. Arteta's halftime introduction of Madueke proved to be the winning move, with the winger driving inside and finishing off Rice's pass to secure a precious 1-0 away win.

Arsenal
Leeds1 - 1Man United

A fiery and competitive Roses derby at Elland Road where Leeds and United played out a hard fought 1-1 draw. Mbeumo put the visitors ahead after converting a lovely cross from Tielemans. Leeds came out with renewed energy in the second half and found a well deserved equalizer through Calvert Lewin. Both teams pushed for a winner in a physical finish, but a point a piece feels like a fair outcome.

Man United
Dinamo Zagreb1 - 0Anderlecht

A cruel and sickening way to lose on the road. We completely bossed the tempo and created enough clear cut chances to win, but Kotarski stood on his head. To work so hard for 90 minutes and get undone by a 95th minute VAR penalty leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Head up, but that hurts.

Dinamo Zagreb
Lask Linz3 - 6Liverpool

What a wild response after Sunday's defeat! Six goals on the road in Europe, a hattrick for Barcola, and goals for Araújo, Frimpong, and Koumas absolutely electric in attack! Conceding three in the second half gives us something to tidy up defensively, but you can't complain after a 6-3 win away in the Champions League!

Liverpool
Inter3 - 4Club Brugge KV

An absolute Champions League classic at San Siro as Club Brugge stunned Inter in a breathtaking seven goal thriller! Tresoldi stole the show with a sensational hattrick, while Martinez scored twice for the hosts. Vermant's 87th minute strike proved to be the winner, holding off a frantic late push from Inter after Bonny pulled one back in stoppage time.

Club Brugge KV
Liverpool0 - 3Man City

Extremely frustrating afternoon. We competed well in a fiery environment for the first hour, but Gravenberch's red card completely ruined our momentum. Conceding three goals in quick succession right after the dismissal was brutal to watch at home. A day to forget, and we desperately need to bounce back next match.

Man City
Chelsea5 - 1Bournemouth

An absolute goal fest at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea blew Bournemouth away with a 5-1 masterclass. The Blues raced into a historic 2-0 lead within the opening three minutes thanks to goals from Henderson and Rogers. Pedro added two goals of his own, and Henderson capped off his brilliant display with a stunning freekick for his second. Evanilson pulled one back for Bournemouth early in the second half, but Chelsea's clinical firepower completely overwhelmed the visitors.

Chelsea
Arsenal2 - 1Leeds

A thrilling second half contest as Arsenal came from behind to defeat a resilient Leeds United. Justin gave the visitors a surprise lead, but Calafiori quickly equalized for the Gunners. Arteta's tactical substitutions paid off immediately, with Guimaraes completing a wonderful team move to secure all three points.

Arsenal
France4 - 1Belgium

Heartbreaking collapse after holding a well earned lead for so long. Taking the game to France in the first half and going ahead through Lukebakio gave us real hope, but we completely ran out of steam defensively in the final twenty minutes. Getting hit by a four goal storm is a tough pill to swallow.

France
Denmark2 - 4Portugal

An absolute thriller in Copenhagen as Portugal outgunned Denmark 4-2 in a pulsating six goal encounter. Cancelo and Ramos gave the visitors an early advantage, though Damsgaard and Højlund twice brought Denmark level. However, a brilliant strike from Vitinha and a late counter attacking finish from substitute Felix ultimately sealed all three points for the holders.

Portugal
Belgium0 - 1France

Devastating outcome after defending so resolutely for almost the entire 90 minutes. Lammens was incredible in goal, and the boys left everything on the pitch against a very strong French side. Conceding so late hurts, especially after shutting them down for so long. Tough to take, but we go again.

France
Italy0 - 2Belgium

What an absolute masterpiece of an away performance! To go to Rome against Italy and take all three points shows the incredible character and quality of this team. We absorbed heavy pressure in the second half, but the boys stood tall and defended for their lives. Massive win for the Red Devils!

Belgium
Netherlands1 - 1Germany

A gripping tactical battle in Amsterdam that marked the managerial bows of both Xavi and Klopp. Germany took control in the first half when Nmecha finished smartly following an early VAR reprieve for the Dutch. The Netherlands heavily pressed after the break, and their persistence finally paid off deep into stoppage time when Gakpo hammered home a brilliant late equalizer to split the points.

Germany
St. Truiden0 - 2KVC Westerlo

A clinical first half display secured all three points for Westerlo on the road against STVV. Bassette broke the deadlock, and Sandra added a crucial second right before halftime. STVV struggled to find a response after the break as Westerlo managed the game professionally to claim a clean sheet victory.

Kricfalusi capped off the stellar performance with a third goal just before the hour mark, leaving Plzen with plenty to ponder as the Europa League league phase begins.

Plzen
Anderlecht1 - 2Lyon

Frustrating to give such a strong team a two goal head start in our opening European match. We showed incredible character and spirit in the second half, and Cvetkovic's goal fully deserved a response. Unlucky not to grab a draw towards the end, but we take the positive reaction into our next fixtures.

Lyon
Liverpool3 - 1Tottenham

Brilliant cup performance under the lights at Anfield! Great to see Mac Allister, Gakpo, and Szoboszlai all getting on the scoresheet and keeping our momentum rolling. Even when Spurs threatened through Gallagher's goal, the team managed the game well and finished strong. Into the next round!

Liverpool
Man United0 - 1Man City

A dramatic and hard fought Manchester derby where City showed incredible resilience. The visitors were forced to play with ten men for most of the match after Foden received a straight red card. A wildly entertaining Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge where Hull continued their unbeaten start. Chelsea rallied in the second half and found an equalizer through in form Pedro, but Hull held firm to earn an impressive draw.

Hull City
Liverpool0 - 0Fulham

Massively two points dropped at home. After the highs of midweek, we looked completely flat and lacked any real tempo or cutting edge in the final third. Credit to Fulham's low block, but we have to do much better than this at Anfield if we want to challenge.

Liverpool
Man United4 - 0Sabah FA

A dream return to the Champions League for United, who comfortably brushed aside competition debutants Sabah 4-0. Though Sabah showed early courage, Cunha opened the floodgates. Quick fire goals from Bruno and Šeško right before halftime effectively killed the contest, before Martínez added a fourth after the break to seal a professional opening win.

Man United
Bayern5 - 0Bodo/Glimt

A game of two completely different halves. Bodø/Glimt held firm defensively to frustrate Bayern through a scoreless opening 45 minutes. Bayern
Liverpool2 - 1Atletico Madrid

What a massive European performance under the lights! Going down early to Llorente's goal was a blow, but the team dug deep. Szoboszlai and Mac Allister were immense in midfield, and the atmosphere in the second half was unplayable. Perfect start to our Champions League campaign!

Liverpool
Napoli0 - 1Arsenal

A tense, tactical European battle in Naples where quality in the final third proved scarce until the 75th minute. Napoli defended resolutely under Conte's setup, but Arsenal captain Ødegaard unlocked the game with a brilliant, trademark strike from the edge of the box. The Gunners managed the remainder of the match professionally to secure a valuable away victory.

Arsenal

An absolute rollercoaster of a European night in Bruges that delivered end to end entertainment from the first whistle. Villa held on resiliently to claim a massive away victory.

Anderlecht0 - 0Genk

A frustrating afternoon in terms of creativity, but keeping a clean sheet against a strong Genk side is a solid foundation. We lacked that final decisive pass in the final third to break them down, but defensively the boys put in a proper shift. We take the point and move forward.

Anderlecht
Arsenal2 - 1Chelsea

A pulsating, high octane London derby at the Emirates Stadium. Chelsea flew out of the traps when Rogers scored in two minutes, stunning the home crowd. However, Arsenal showed tremendous composure to turn the game on its head, leveling before the break and firing home a clinical winner early in the second half to secure a massive victory.

Arsenal
KV Mechelen0 - 4KVC Westerlo

An absolute disaster from minute one to ninety. Conceding early completely broke us, and there was zero response, zero fight, and total defensive shambles all night. Getting booed off at halftime and full time is fully justified. We look completely lost right now and major changes are needed immediately.

Bournemouth
Ipswich0 - 2Liverpool

Now that is how you kick off a matchday! Isak and Gakpo were simply unplayable in those opening ten minutes, and getting that first clean sheet and three points on the board feels fantastic. Professional job done on the road!

Liverpool
Lommel United0 - 1Club Brugge KV

A tight and gritty contest decided by a single unfortunate moment. Lommel frustrated Brugge for most of the first half, but disaster struck just before the break when Eyoma turned the ball into his own net. Brugge managed the second half professionally, surviving a late VAR scare.
