Huge congrats to a Myanmar side that seem to be developing their program more and more everytime the asean cup comes around, however what the actual hell happened to the Philippines? Last year they beat Indonesia to qualify for the semis, now they look like a team that wouldint even scratch by Cambodia. Absolute disaster for the Philippines but I did enjoy watching Myanmar triumph so this gets a 4/5.

Timor Leste showed signs of life late in this one but Singapore got the job done with a comfortable win to give them 6 of 6 points so far. They look good but I don’t see them pulling off an upset over the likes of Vietnam or Indonesia.

This is finally Indonesia’s year I’m falling it. Sorry Maqwell but they look more mature and well put together than thy ever have in the AFF cup. Cambodia scored a very weird goal that made me laugh and that will probably be the most notable thing they will do in the tournament
Myanmar1-2MalaysiaYeah I’m not Ngl Malaysia looked like hot ass in this match, I’d be surprised if they make it out of the groups. Myanmar had chance after chance to double the lead but they just couldn’t get their shots on target, maybe they end up giving another big team like the Philippines a run for their money but this seems like an opportunity gone to waste after a dominant first half showing.
Laos0-5ThailandYeah I don’t really have anything to say abt this one it’s Laos. Thailand look good ig, they have some young talent that could really shine throughout this tournament.
Timor-Leste0-7VietnamAbsolute Vietnam. Funniest part of the match was going to the YouTube comments and seeing Indonesians shit talking Vietnam, not much to say here other than Vietnams attack looks stellar even outside of Son.
Cambodia1-2SingaporeTwo excellent goals, one of them being an INSANE volley coming in the 100th minute to give Singapore the win. Cambodia were so closed to a historic draw and if the ref didn’t let play go on for so long they could have gotten it, meanwhile Singapore didn’t look super convincing and I hope they use this as a warning sign in order to prepare for tougher opponents
