Argentina won the World Cup in 2022. Because of that, I thought going into this World Cup, win or lose, I'm glad this will be a stress free watch for the Argentine team. Cape Verde legit said "bitch, you thought". I cannot believe how stressed I was watching this game. I'm glad Argentina won, but Cape Verde, you have my respect. Hats off to you guys. What a run you guys had. Everyone clowned Spain when they tied them in their opening game. Pretty sure everyone now thinks that it wasn't a fluke. Argentina won the game, but Cape Verde won the hearts of the footballing world 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Ehhh, the US started the game extremely well. First half was just a continuation from their first game. That second half was not too great imo. But regardless, we're through to the Round of 32! Let's see how Türkiye and Paraguay turn out tonight!

I started watching at the age of 12 in 2009 (I chose Barcelona in the UCL final to cheer for and have been a Barça fan ever since), and can easily say this was my favorite football match early into my time as a fan. Will never forget Pique holding up his hand, or Messi's walk off the pitch when Ramos tackled him. Cold moments in Barcelona history 🥶🥶🥶

One of the most evenly matched games so far this World Cup, imo. Both teams had great chances and it took til the 90th minute to break the deadlock, but that was far from a boring game. Super enjoyable!

As someone who was cheering for Argentina throughout the whole tournament, this game started as a dream and almost ended in nightmare. But from an entertainment standpoint, this is the best football match I've ever watched to date. I'm writing this after the gift we were given in the UCL semfinal between PSG and Bayern Munich in the first leg, and that is the only game I can put on par with this World Cup final. Glad to know the pressure of winning a World Cup is off Messi's shoulders. Can't wait to see how he plays in the one coming up!
