Argentina won the World Cup in 2022. Because of that, I thought going into this World Cup, win or lose, I'm glad this will be a stress free watch for the Argentine team. Cape Verde legit said "bitch, you thought". I cannot believe how stressed I was watching this game. I'm glad Argentina won, but Cape Verde, you have my respect. Hats off to you guys. What a run you guys had. Everyone clowned Spain when they tied them in their opening game. Pretty sure everyone now thinks that it wasn't a fluke. Argentina won the game, but Cape Verde won the hearts of the footballing world 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Ehhh, the US started the game extremely well. First half was just a continuation from their first game. That second half was not too great imo. But regardless, we're through to the Round of 32! Let's see how Türkiye and Paraguay turn out tonight!

The game of the tournament so far. Still not too convinced of England being a top candidate to win, but they got time to improve. Was pulling for Croatia but damn, they really are an older team. Guess we'll see how well they do for the rest of the tournament

All those CR7 fans clowning Messi for yesterday's hat trick saying "It's just Algeria!", and then he goes and has a completely abysmal game lmao If Portugal want a chance at winning this World Cup, Roberto Martinez needs to make Ronaldo a super sub. He is not going to do anything near what Messi can do for Argentina

The first half was not it. At that point, I still honestly believed the US was the best collective looking team at the World Cup so far. That 2nd half showed that France are here to play. Olise is carrying his momentum from a great season, and Mbappe showed he's here to become the best goal scorer at World Cups. That 2nd half France is definitely the best team of the World Cup so far and a team to fear

One of the most evenly matched games so far this World Cup, imo. Both teams had great chances and it took til the 90th minute to break the deadlock, but that was far from a boring game. Super enjoyable!

But from an entertainment standpoint, this is the best football match I've ever watched to date. I'm writing this after the gift we were given in the UCL semfinal between PSG and Bayern Munich in the first leg, and that is the only game I can put on par with this World Cup final. Glad to know the pressure of winning a World Cup is off Messi's shoulders. Can't wait to see how he plays in the one coming up!

As a neutral fan, this is by far the best and most entertaining football match I have ever seen. The only reason I can't say it is the best match ever played is for 1, it is a UCL semifinal, so the stakes aren't as big as the final would be (It would've been a much better final than the one we're about to witness), and 2, it isn't the World Cup final. No stake is higher than the World Cup. The most I can do is put this on par with the 2022 World Cup final, which of course is a great honor. We need more football like this!!!!
