I think the olmo-Rodri-gavi midfield rotation is pretty solid. People are being unnecessarily harsh towards gavi when obviously. He needs to ease into his position. Today what I saw was lack of confidence due to the minutes he’s NOT getting. You try holding up the midfield without Pedri but the media will somehow convince you that gavi is “washed” and should be “sold”. But one thing I noticed about current gavi is he’s more careful with his plays As opposed to 22/23 gavi being more aggressive. IMO this is a change for sure but not sure if it’s in the good direction… need more minutes But on a very bright note !! Ant Gordon !! First goal !! At home at that !!
