was in the stands for this one!! i don’t have much to say except what a performance, i’m super proud of us :) there were defo some moments that had me STRESSED because our attacking players were occasionally lacking a little, BUTTT we made up for it by keeping a clean sheet so😋 That being said though i’ve been converted to Tel-ism, not like i ever really doubted him but christ he works so hard so consistently, love him!! also tonali + senesi + van hecke were on fire tbh i was pretty distracted in the first half of the match after seeing robbo train like 5m away from me 😵‍💫 i fear i’m never gonna get over it. AND HEY!! ROBBO ASSIST!! people (me) died

the poetic justice in this match… ferran scoring and enzo being sent off… what a way to end the world cup. while the match was very much anticlimactic, cheeks were clenched YET again bc it went on too damn long pero VAMOSSSSS!!! VIVA ESPAÑA!!! so glad i watched this match w my bsf and my bf because Lawd i probs would’ve shut my computer after 90 minutes if they weren’t there, but they made it super fun and just slightly more bearable when we had to see trump hand over the medals and basically ruin spain’s celebration. YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE TEAM! YOU ARE SENILE! GO BACK TO BED! the half time show felt so empty to me. i’m grateful that i don’t have to deal with ‘soccer’ or even think about the MLS for the foreseeable future. the americanisation of everything, all the pomp and circumstance was just hideous, and really goes to show the levels of corruption that FIFA so willfully entertains. it’s sickening, and i hate the fact that FIFA runs a sport that’s meant to be democratising, by selling it to the biggest dictators you could think of. fuck fifa, fuck trump, and well done spain for taking the future of football out the hands of that fuckass argentinian team because it needed to happen sooner or later
