What a World Cup this has been. From the very first match to the final, this world cup was filled with unforgettable moments, incredible performances, dramatic games and football at its absolute best. It was the kind of World Cup that reminded us why we love this sport so much. Every game had its own story, every team had something to fight for, and the whole world cup was simply beautiful to watch. But in the end, Spain deserved to lift the trophy. They were outstanding throughout the World cup. ❤️And then there was Rodri❤️ What a world cup he had. After everything he went through, coming back from the injury and still managing to produce performances of this level on the biggest stage is simply extraordinary. Pep Guardiola once said that Rodri would be back at his best in time for the World Cup, and he was absolutely right. His return could not have been more perfect. Rodri came back, lead Spain through the tournament and lifted the World Cup. I also truly hope he renews his contract with Manchester City. A player like Rodri is irreplaceable, and I cannot imagine him wearing any shirt other than the City shirt. Hopefully, we get to see him continue to lead the midfield at the Etihad for many more years.😔🙏🏻😔

It was a great match and both teams played really well. Unfortunately Courtois injury in the last minutes had a huge impact on Belgium. I wish De Bruyne’s last dance had ended differently. No matter what happens he will always be the best in my eyes:( About Rodri it was outstanding and fully deserved to go to the semifinals, well done! I really think Rodri is back!!❤️
