Felt weird seeing kane dropped that deep the whole match, but i guess it worked huh with the fact that he was the only one who scored today

Almost wrote "not even my corrupt govt and possibly corrupt fifa could arrange for this team to win huh" if they end up losing. Thankfully though we won deservingly.

First I want to say that england's performance was really solid today, I'd say one of the best since quite awhile. But the thing is I felt like croatia played too poorly. So I cannot even say that england was that good, more like they happened to face croatia who's currently in a bad shape. Also england's problem has always been about performing under pressure, so yeah I feel like this game did not test anything too meaningful about england's actual performance. But even so, I still really enjoyed the game and proud of the boys. Lastly I just want to note that even though I POTM-ed bellingham (for all his many contributions), I feel like he made too many mistakes with passes during the second half, which seem to be stemmed from exhaustions.
