I had fun. The first half was much better, but the second didn’t disappoint. I think we just saw the biggest difference between both teams and that’s the incredible defense Toluca has compared to Rayados. Whether it was in the air or on the ground, Toluca had it covered. Rayados tried their best, but they simply couldn’t break through the low block and Toluca played a great counter. Toluca is undeniably the best team in Liga MX right now and maybe in the last 5-6 years at least, possibly even better than Jardine’s America that won 3 leagues in a row not so long ago. Incredible what a great coach mixed with incredible signings can do for a team. If only others could follow suit! Give a great coach something to work with and he will turn it into gold!
