This game Curaçao again played with confidence, which is admiring considering their much lower level. Honestly played decent they just got outclassed for the most part by a better team, end of the day its still a mostly KKD level team lmao. Ivory Coast played a solid game, were dangerous quite often and especially had some nice passing plays. They will likely be playing Norway and im actually very excited for that game, will be very close. Hope Diallo will soon be fully fit again too. Curaçao can be proud, of course they are eliminated but they got eliminated with a point more than most expected. A country that isnt even independent getting a point they absolutely deserved as well in a group as tough as they had is incredible. Im hoping it inspired more Dutch players with Curaçaoan heritage to choose for them and hopefully they can be back in 4 years with a younger team. Ban ta bai Korsou. Man of the match to Pépé for his brace, two good goals and very dangerous the whole game really. Also got the prediction correct so happy days.

I did not watch the match. I spent today working on a project. Today I am thankful for having an unblocked nose. I encourage everyone experiencing the same to take a moment to feel thankful for this. I had a cold shower today. I was surprised to find the bathroom mirror had not fogged up. I have both learnt something new today and cooled myself down in doing this. I hope we are past the peak of this heatwave and I hope everyone is taking care to stay hydrated and cool in this heat. Thank you @alf for my GIF. I have seen it on KLIPY but I cannot find it on the Bookd GIF search function. I have saved the GIF and attached it below. Perhaps it should be renamed on KLIPY with key words such as "Bookd"? I enjoyed watching Alf and Elz fight in Pokémon this morning. I will not be present for the matches taking place this evening and early morning. I hope everyone that does enjoys the matches and manages to get good rest despite this fact. I like to imagine there will be penguins in the chat regardless of my presence. Curacao should leave this competition with pride. Getting a point for the smallest nation to ever compete in a World Cup is amazing, really inspiring for everyone over there! Ivory Coast deserved the win, the overhaul of quality was unfortunately too much for Curacao. They were quite comfortable and 2-0 was a fair score. Hope we see Curacao back at the World Cup again! Come on Blue Wave!

This game started out with fire especially with that Nicolas Pepe goal, but then Ivory Coast knew what to do and how to deal with these matches. Patience and Tactical commitment then was the key factor in scoring that second and securing the second place in a very tough group. Despite the variety of changes in all there three matches, Emerse Fae knew what should be prepared and deserved that qualification position.. 🇨🇮🇨🇼
