Apart from the goal, wow Suzuki was amazing. Game lacked momentum, I think Sweden were happy with the point, Japan might've wanted the win, but positives for both teams as they qualified. I don't see Sweden getting too far in the knockouts with a tie against France/Norway being challenging. Japan could cause an upset against Brazil, I didn't think they looked amazing considering the opponents they had in the group. We will see, these knockout games look very interesting so far

A very close match tbh with a slight offensive and tactical advantage to the Samurai team in my opinion, every offensive play looks like they practiced it hundreds of times and it’s just always a joy watching them. Sweden’s midfield is their weakness in my opinion , yea they got Ayari and Bergvall but they really miss the key pass which is very unfortunate since they got lethal trio upfront .. 🇸🇪🇯🇵

First of all fuck Junya Ito and Kaisho Sano. Admittedly dont have too much to say about this one because i mostly watched it as background, incredible Sweden goal though. Im very surprised Sweden managed to stay on Japan their level here, i rated Japan a lot higher. Going to be very tough for Japan up against Brazil but it does feel like a World Cup Classic too. Very excited for that game. Sweden likely up against France i believe but that might chance still, either way dont think Sweden will be getting too far. Their issues are still quite clear i think and thats just not having enough good players to feed their good strikers, while also having poor defenders. Man of the match for Elanga because that was a beauty of a goal.
