Gravenberch shouldn’t have gone in, but that was such a terrible call and just casts more of a shadow on this league, and on that club. Overall, pretty proud of the team before the red. They were brave, and even though they kept making mistakes, they kept trying. Gravenberch absolutely bossed Anderson and Enzo for the first hour. I thought Semenyo and O’Reilly were the standouts for City, just top top athletes. For us, VVD and Jacquet had another good game, and I thought Gravenberch and Macca did well. The attack again went missing, and that’ll have to change against Brentford. We’re missing three starters, so add that to the final notes. The concerning thing is how Iraola reacted to a man down. Park the bus and settle for the draw. At this stage in your managerial career, you have to be humble and realize when to settle to not lose.
