First half was very entertaining but the second half not as much. Once again, defensive issues in the first half was present. Almada seriously needs to improve the backline as this is now the third match in a row where we concede 2+ goals in the first half. We should’ve been down 3-2 at ht but were lucky that Julian Carranza missed a sitter. We’re just asking to concede goals when we have Lara and Vazquez as our CB duo. Hopefully we get to see Santiago Bueno and Santiago Ramos get minutes soon because I can’t keep seeing those two start. 😵💫 With this win we head into the international break 2nd only behind Toluca due to goals scored. América gets a victoria at the Victoria Definitely a tale of two halves. I thought we were great in the first half. We had a lot of chances. yet we gave the lead and crucially a late penalty. Come the second half, however, we were worse and thus they scored 2 more times. América were definitely the better team the second half The whole stadium was yellow, my team is washed 🤦♂️

Important point away from home! In all seriousness though this was subpar, but Schalke did their thing and held on with a good performance from Karius. Time to focus on the Champions League 💪🏻

This was a dominant performance from Cruz Azul, literal BTA. Probably their best performance since winning the league back in May. They did slow down at bit at the end but they were already 3-0 up. Enjoyable match with some nice goals too.
Cruz AzulNecaxa1 - 3Cruz Azuldespite a lightning bolt hitting nearby my house hours before kickoff, Necaxa didn't follow the Utahn prophecy and lost very disappointingly against Cruz Azul.. we weren't completely terrible during the first half, but we totally lost our heads in the second, letting two early goals. it could've been more, but thankfully it wasn't. got a goal at least
