Chocolate chip cookie recipe: Ingredients * 250g/9oz plain flour * ½ tsp baking powder * ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda * ½ tsp sea salt flakes, plus extra for sprinkling * 110g/3¾oz unsalted butter, diced and at room temperature * 110g/3¾oz light brown sugar * 110g/3¾oz caster sugar * 1 large free-range egg * ½ tsp vanilla extract * 250g/9oz chocolate Method 1. To make the cookie dough, whisk together the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt in a large bowl.
 2. Put the butter and sugars in a separate large bowl. Using an electric hand-held mixer, beat together for about 4–5 minutes until fluffy and light. Add the egg, beating until fully combined, then briefly mix in the vanilla.
 3. Add the flour mixture and mix just until a dough is formed. Add the chocolate and mix until evenly distributed.
 4. Chill the dough for 24–48 hours before baking. This process helps the flour to hydrate and makes for a better tasting cookie that is more likely to caramelise as it bakes. You can skip this process, but the dough will still need refrigerating for a few hours so that it can be rolled into balls and will bake without spreading too much.
 5. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4 and line two baking trays with baking paper.
 6. Use your hands or an ice cream scoop to form balls of dough (about 60–70g/2¼–2½oz per cookie). Sprinkle with a little sea salt and place on the prepared baking trays, leaving 2.5–5cm/1–2in between each cookie.
 7. Bake for about 16–18 minutes or until golden around the edges but still slightly pale in the middle. Leave to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. 8. Enjoy!

I was out of town, doing a bit of visiting. I heard my wise father figure Hansi Flick had finally taken the time to settle down in the countryside. Rightfully so, after what he’d been through, with all the pent-up stress and frustration built up over the years of coaching the most successful Spanish club ever. “How have things been buddy?” I asked, as I saw my man step out of the house upon hearing my car come in the drive-through. “All good, life’s been a lot more chill, now that I’ve retired,” he answered. “Hey, wanna check out my animals out back? I’ve taken up farming as a hobby with my free time,” as he motioned over to the back gate. We headed out and he started introducing me to some of the livestock, mentioning how he had named them after his players, as the unhinged animals they were. Just then, I was hit by an unbearable stench. With my eyes watering uncontrollably, I questioned through gritted teeth, “What in the hell is that smell?” He looked over knowingly and said: "Ah. Raphinha? The goat is never washed.”

I’m actually on the verge of fucking tears I genuinely can’t stand this football club anymore. 24th of May was the last time I saw this shit team get a win… wait, 24th of May was the last time I saw us SCORE A GOAL BEFORE TODAY. IT TOOK 4 FUCKING MONTHS FOR ME TO SEE US SCORE A GOAL. AND GUESS WHAT, THE PLAYER THAT SCORED THAT GOAL… WE LET GO. SO NOW WE HAVE TO PLAY A FUCKING BENTANCUR BERGVALL DOUBLE PIVOT, WITH FUCKING CONOR GALLAGHER INFRONT OF THEM IN 2026. MATHYS TEL IS THE WORST FOOTBALLER IVE EVER WATCHED, MARMOUSH IS ABSOLUTELY WANK, KUDUS HAS THE END PRODUCT OF A DISABLED CHILD, AND DE ZERBI STILL DECIDES TO PLAY THEM. Oh my god I actually can’t. The defence wasn’t awful today (even though they got bullied by a bunch of 19 year olds), Udogie was probably our best player, but do you know what happened? 2 goals down and De Zerbi DECIDES TO SUB HIM OFF. WE NEED 2 GOALS AND HE BROUGHT ON ROBERTSON FOR SOME PITY POINTS. WHY DID WE THINK IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO HIRE A GUY WHO CONDONES SEX OFFENDERS. FUCKKKKKK FOR THE GAZILLIONTH TIME WEVE SCORED A GOAL TO GET OURSELVES BACK INTO A GAME AND WE DO FUCK ALL. WE APPLY NO PRESSURE, AND EVERY CHANCE WE GET WE FUCK UP. WE MISSED 2 OPEN GOALS AHAHJAHHHHH WE COULDVE WON NOW WE HAVE VILLA IN 4 DAYS WERE GOING TO LOSE I CANT I CANT I CANT JSNSLAPDHFNWKAOXJDMSIVHW KO
