I just know Zidane was itching to run onto the pitch and show subject #7 how to score a goal. uhhh overall it was an alright game. big disappointment that france didn’t win but props to Italy (only because they are in a ditch and i kinda feel bad) for drawing. what made it interesting was that it was a midfield battle: frattesi, tonali and fagioli were better than the france midfield because cherki was lacking. i can’t believe im saying this but if camavinga was subbed in sooner, i think we could’ve seen more from france. olise persistence and by doing his own thing ended up with an insane free kick that was colddd assss fuckkkkk. but moise keane was too much of a menace he was able to get the final laugh against upamecano (even tho he had a great game). all france needs is for its attackers to polish their finishes but shoutout kalulu in the first half cause he was running like hell and da cunha whose quietly great in midfield.

well international break has me bored as hell AND in honour of the awesome run brighton is on this season, here is a throwback to the last home game i watched 😁 ‘twas the middle of winter where I was drowning in uni deadlines and i needed a break so i went to this game on a whim! i had a lot of fun hanging out with random diehard supporters and being around the whimsy of the people in seagull masks wearing Santa hats. In terms of the actual match it was goalless…with few chances…and no standout moments… yet it’s always a special feeling to watch a game in person so i had a great day out
