Four and a half stars. I would have enjoyed it thoroughly if I was a neutral. I feel that if I were to write out my thoughts on this match it would rival the length of the Bible, so I, Juno, Bookd's very own Nottingham Forest Expert, will provide my player ratings instead. SELS- 6. Can't be at fault in my opinion, made some good saves. But three goals conceded is three goals conceded. MURILLO- 4. Worrying player to watch. On his day he's the centreback equivalent of Neuer. But his days are becoming rarer and rarer. DIOMANDE- 6. Thought he looked tidy. Best of our backline for sure. AINA- 5. Whatever. Did fine enough for playing out of position. WILLIAMS- 5. Not much to say here really, he was meh. McATEE- 6. Still really rate him. Looks a very intelligent player on the ball, and isn't afraid to do dirty work either. SCHLAGER- 5. If he was five years younger he'd be world class. But he runs like he's in a swimming pool. MUNOZ- 4. They sold me a dream man. They sold me a dream. NDOYE- 8. Great stuff. Had Khalaili (🤮) on ropes all game. Tidy finish to boot. Really, our only threat. GIBBS-WHITE- 4. If I speak, I am in big trouble. So frustrating. Wish he'd look a little happier to be playing for us and not like he's just murdered a child. DELAP- 4. Kill Liam Delap

Palace took advantage of two scrappy chances and the difference was being clinical. Liam Delap needs to take his chances with the price Forest paid for him, he should've had at least one today. Gibbs-White was in and out, had many free headers from a set piece tactic but the main story was Forest squandering chances. Dan Ndoye had a good intensity to the game throughout but didn't have enough to find another goal. I thought Palace were pretty average and the scoreline really flattered them, but you've got to scrape results out in the Premier League especially when you're not in great form with a slow start to the season. Benítez was their saviour today on numerous occasions, so he's my MOTM.

First half was a crazy battle from both teams, think we definitely should've been 2 or 3-1 up by half time if it wasn't for Kelleher. Mings vs Thiago was literally a Trash vs Garbage matchup, love Mings but how many times do I have to say he's not good enough for us anymore. Standout players for us were Jackson, Manzambi, McGinn, Gomes and Lindelof, but Kelleher was the difference in why Brentford walked away with a point so he's my MOTM. Many positives to walk away with despite 2 points dropped, but we're still winless at home which needs to change. Referee was absolutely woeful, supposed to be a crackdown on the throw ins but Kayode had about 20 minutes of the match with the ball in his hand. Thought he gave many soft fouls for both teams too. Also, Janelt easily could've been sent off for 2 yellows after the referee forgot he made a pull back before an advantage was given. Typical Premier League refereeing.

Although Croatia should've had one goal with a sitter missed by Mateo Kovacic, it would've been far from deserved. England were better on every aspect and you could absolutely argue the scoreline flattered Croatia, it was extremely embarrassing for those top level players on their home soil to show absolutely no fight, at the end I felt bad for the schoolchildren in the crowd who had to watch that mess 😭
