Man City2 - 4PSG

One of the best matches this season so far. PSG made a blistering start and City couldn’t handle them. Complete domination in the midfield area, they overloaded City and pressed them with intensity they couldn’t match. Deserved the 3 goal lead at half time. City were a lot better second half with the changes. Could’ve easily scored 4 or 5. If Donnarumma didn’t have his usual big UCL game howler, maybe they would’ve had the momentum to do so. Disgraceful penalty decision at the end and even worse finish but it wouldn’t have changed the outcome at that stage. City will still go through easily. Might be all they have to play for if they get a heavy points deduction in the Premier League.

The second half

Liverpool
Atletico Madrid2 - 0Man United

Struggle, sack the coach, play well with the interim, hire the interim permanently, struggle, sack the coach…

Atletico Madrid
Shamrock Rovers2 - 1Bohemians

Well that’s Bohs out of the title race. Great match and advert for the league. High intensity from the off with well worked goals. Rovers deserved the win in the end. Down to Pats to stop them now

Shamrock Rovers

City celebrating as if these 3 points aren’t being taken away tomorrow

Man City

Liam Delap isn’t our problem anymore

Crystal Palace

This might have been the worst game of football I’ve ever seen in my entire life
Chelsea5 - 1Bournemouth

Pensioners succeed in popping vulnerable Cherries at home after a 3 week break

Chelsea
Arsenal2 - 1Leeds

They’re called Leeds but couldn’t hold a lead. What did they mean by this?

Arsenal

Israel trying to succeed at anything other than mutilating children, disintegrating journalists and playing the victim

Kazakhstan W0 - 8Republic of Ireland W

Very dominant display against poor opposition. Hope we can take this momentum all the way to Brazil next summer. Whether its Poland or Belgium, bring them on!
Shamrock Rovers3 - 1Drogheda United

Rovers finally don’t slip up on the slippiest night of the year

Shamrock Rovers
Argentina3 - 0Benin

Lowkey fell asleep before half time. Sorry Messi. You’ll always be my GOAT

Let’s hope we never play these disgusting “people” ever again

The most interesting part of this game was Zidane’s character development to not headbutt anyone this time

Yamal’s got to win the Ballon d’Or surely?

Spain
Belgium0 - 1France

1st half was very entertaining, 2nd half was kind of boring until the goal. You need to be pretty much perfect defensively to shut out this France attack and Belgium just ran out of steam at the end.

France
Norway1 - 2Portugal

Portugal without Ronaldo

Portugal
Israel0 - 3Rep. Of Ireland

Israel when they have to play against adults at football instead of murdering children, women, men, journalists and humanitarian aid workers. (Match shouldn’t have gone ahead and I’m still disgusted with the FAI, our government and the players)

Chelsea W1 - 0Arsenal W

Arsenal controlled the early proceedings but you can’t take your foot off the gas against this Chelsea side. Hard fought win, but well earned

England2 - 3Spain

Can always rely on Kane to step down when it matters most

This Italy defence

To call these lot useless would be far too generous

Kosovo
Fulham1 - 1Man United

This result leaving Spurs bottom added an extra 3 stars, symbolising the 3 weeks they’ll be there (at minimum)

Fulham
Man City5 - 3Sunderland

What a game! I made a genius decision to switch over from Bournemouth-Liverpool after the 2nd Sunderland goal. City not needing to rely on Haaland to score. Looking like very strong contenders for the title but they need to sure up the defence a bit. Sunderland could’ve had a few more today. Could’ve been 5-5 but not to be. Poor Brobbey scoring a hat trick and still losing. Chaotic game though, reminds me of when City beat Fulham 5-4 last season.

Sunderland
Celtic0 - 1Rangers

Celtic were shocking. At least they only have to wait 15 minutes for the next Old Firm!

Rangers
Brighton3 - 0Arsenal

IMAGINE LOSING 3-0 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Brighton
Tottenham2 - 3Aston Villa

Villa let Spurs score twice, they might be the 2nd worst team in the league. Lucky they had Nicolas Jackson!

Chocolate chip cookie recipe: Ingredients * 250g/9oz plain flour * ½ tsp baking powder * ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda * ½ tsp sea salt flakes, plus extra for sprinkling * 110g/3¾oz unsalted butter, diced and at room temperature * 110g/3¾oz light brown sugar * 110g/3¾oz caster sugar * 1 large free-range egg * ½ tsp vanilla extract * 250g/9oz chocolate Method 1. To make the cookie dough, whisk together the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt in a large bowl. 2. Put the butter and sugars in a separate large bowl. Using an electric hand-held mixer, beat together for about 4–5 minutes until fluffy and light. Add the egg, beating until fully combined, then briefly mix in the vanilla. 3. Add the flour mixture and mix just until a dough is formed. Add the chocolate and mix until evenly distributed. 4. Chill the dough for 24–48 hours before baking. This process helps the flour to hydrate and makes for a better tasting cookie that is more likely to caramelise as it bakes. You can skip this process, but the dough will still need refrigerating for a few hours so that it can be rolled into balls and will bake without spreading too much. 5. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4 and line two baking trays with baking paper. 6. Use your hands or an ice cream scoop to form balls of dough (about 60–70g/2¼–2½oz per cookie). Sprinkle with a little sea salt and place on the prepared baking trays, leaving 2.5–5cm/1–2in between each cookie. 7. Bake for about 16–18 minutes or until golden around the edges but still slightly pale in the middle. Leave to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. 8. Enjoy!
Man United2 - 3Brighton

50 year record broken, this is your legacy Michael Carrick

Tottenham finally scored a goal only for Szoboszlai to do that 😭

Liverpool

I don’t care what anyone says, that was DCL’s goal

Leeds
Man United0 - 1Man City

When we got an early red card at Old Trafford last season, Maresca sacrificed our entire attack. This season, he gets an early red card at Old Trafford and goes on to win the game. No I’m not mad.

We genuinely might have the worst defence in the league

Hull City
St Patrick's Athl.2 - 0Shamrock Rovers

First of all, a big thank you to @toni and @olivia for posting about this game to Twitter. More eyes on our little island’s football league is always a positive. Anyway, great win for Pats. They started with high intensity and were rewarded with the early goal for McClelland. Rovers started sluggish and never got going. 2nd to every ball and allowing Keena time to turn and shoot in the box was only ever going to have one outcome. Pats were defensively sound and limited Rovers to mostly half chances, but they didn’t have to work too hard to keep them out. Still, it was a brilliant defensive performance from captain Joe Redmond in particular, which is why he’s my man of the match. Pats slowed it down in the second half, which Rovers allowed them to do by still not applying too much pressure. Bohs won as well so there’s only 3 points between the top 3 with 6 games to go. Anyone’s title to win still!

St Patrick's Athl.
Man United4 - 0Sabah FA

Easy win for United, as expected. They didn’t get out of 2nd gear but they didn’t need to in truth. Sabah held out well for most of the first half but it was always just delaying the inevitable. Still, they can be proud of themselves. Despite the scoreline, they gave a good account of themselves. I hope they’re able to pick up a few points in this competition.
