Game 1/46. Excellent way to start the season as we dominate the seventh biggest club in South Yorkshire 💪 Liam Thompson was immense, he looks like the exact type of player we've needed since McDonnell got recalled halfway through last season. Michael Smith looks a handful for defenders. Akins played very well and i'm delighted he shut their fans up booing them when he assisted Oates. The back three was solid, definitely a few shaky moments but a massive improvement from last Sunday. The goal we conceded was just annoying as it came out of nowhere. But that was about all they did in the second half. Really really well worked second goal as Akins dummy run tricked their defender and left Reed free on the edge of the box to fire home. Special mention for Donny striker Alfie May, you're shite. I hope Tyler Roberts and Didzy's injuries (if they are injured) aren't too serious and Owen Dodgson looked decent when he came on but he didn't have much to do. Last thing is can we please get the Mansfield squad list sorted so i can vote for Liam Thompson please and thank you 🙏

To give an early goal away like that is so poor. Russell simply has to just clear the ball ANYWHERE else although i don't think Lewis helped by not coming out to the ball. We really really really need to stop playing Blake-Tracy at centre-back and putting Deji at RCB because it simply doesn't work and the fact FBT is horrible when playing in the back three. I thought in the first half we actually played quite well or at least the last 15/20 minutes of it. Second half was pathetic we just worse and worse while they got better and better. Lots of players are lacking sharpness and we are in desperate need of a left wing-back because as much as i love Stephen McLaughlin we need to upgrade on him. I thought the referee gave a lot of soft fouls but i'm not blaming that performance on bad officiating we were just poor. I do have a soft spot for Sheffield United so best of luck to them for the rest of the season.

First half was very very good and we should've lead if McGoldrick didn't mess up his chance 1 on 1 with Vickers, Smith played well up top and took his goal well. McGoldrick had a few good chances in the second half too but unlucky really. Second half our defence was a bit shaky but nothing too bad I do feel like i've been robbed of seeing Patrick Agyemang play at Field Mill though.

I just wrote a long review and for some reason it didn't come up but basically Throwing away a 2-0 lead to your biggest rivals like that is so so so frustrating 1st half was excellent and we were poor in the 2nd half Vargas played great so it'll be a shame if he's leaving Dean messed it up with the subs Aloko did fine when he came on he's getting his first goal soon for sure. Diani and Luca de la Torre are horrific We will be in Atlanta next month to claim our yearly three points 👍
