Arsenal3 - 0Man City

Should force the hands of viana for taking some more transfers over the line. We need a proper backup RB, another midfielder, another winger and striker if savio and marmoush leaves.

Arsenal
Portugal0 - 1Spain

Pretty poor match attacking wise. Nobody stood out.

Spain

That Neymar goal credit: Twitter

It will be really funny when Quansah red card would not be suspended.

England
England2 - 1Congo DR

Bookd Tweet on my TL🤩 BTW got the exact same score as my PES playthrough, early Congo goal followed by late kane brace.

Congo DR
Tunisia0 - 4Japan

This was the 1000th world cup match and only one team came to play. The same day Curacao gained its first ever World Cup point, Tunisia didn't even try.

Japan
Uzbekistan1 - 3Colombia

Munoz goal is one of the best in this tournament. Cannavaro is such a shit coach.

Colombia
Netherlands5 - 1Sweden

First decent match I saw in this world cup(I have been really busy). I keep saying Brobbey is world class, not many can hold up the ball as good as him. Reijnders still does have brainfreeze the moment he enters in final third. FDJ was dictating the whole midfield on his own. More importantly, Potter is so shit that he made Koeman look like a competent manager. Sweden's press was non-existent. Isak was horrible. Ayari needs a bit of composure.

Netherlands
Ecuador0 - 0Curaçao

"The Useless Island" with a population of 150k got its first point in the world cup. A country which hasn't even got independence, was declared autonomous just in 2010. Scoreline, tactics doesn't explain the significance of this point. Hats off to Room.

Curaçao
Mexico1 - 0South Korea

Nice match. South korea build up play is really good but the final third threat came only from crosses, thats a bad sign for a team with no huge central presence. For mexico, their counterpress is nice, should have been better. Lucky goal considering how good both of the gks were for rest of the game.

Chelsea W2 - 3Manchester City W

Remontada! Idk how we won this one. Chelsea should have won by 4/5 or even more. One of the worst man city performance this season up until 90th minute. Fowler after being injured for over a month came in and randomly scored a banger. But that didn't change my mood at all. I thought thats just a consolation goal. Then bunny shaw scored in stoppage time and we caught life. And then chelsea lost their head. How in the hell did they lose that match. Bunny shaw scored again in extra time. And the remontada was complete. There was a real last minute scare from chelsea but thankfully that didn't go in. Potm: Shaw Also shoutout to hemp, she was basically our whole left side for 120 min.
Brighton W0 - 4Manchester City W

DOMINATION Alex Greenwood put an absolute captain's performance. To think we were 3 min away from elimination by 2 goals to here, mental.
PSG1 - 1Arsenal

I know everybody's happy that arsenal lost but they sticked to their guns and defended really well. PSG on the other hand were really disappointing, I thought they would score at least 2 or 3 goals. Overall pretty boring gane and very bad penalties from both the teams bar Ramos and martinelli.
Chelsea0 - 1Man City

I never believed that a bald man from spain leaving a club from manchester could leave such an impact on me , thousands of miles away. I still can't believe he is leaving. Like every part of me wants to believe it is not true. But if it's true, thank you pep really.

Man City
Chelsea0 - 1Man City

On our rebuild season, we won the domestic double🩵🩵. Probably will write the long review later, now is the time to rejoice.

Man City
Man City3 - 0Crystal Palace

Couldn't watch it real time but Watched the full replay. Foden legacy match. What an assist, one of the best assist(imo the best, probably bar cherki vs chelsea) this season in PL. But the counter attack threat was still there, if strand larsen and brennan johnson was not this level of bozos we would have conceded 1 or 2 goals. Savinho had a great game, I mean he scored that's unheard of. Gvardiol with his inverted role was doing great especially considering its his first start since January. For CP, wharton what a player, those passes 🤌 just wow. Outside boot to jhonson, two to strand larsen. Couldn't control tempo but that depends on the player around him as well.

Man City
West Ham0 - 1Arsenal

Arsenal and Gabriel invented swarming and holding the keeper and these refs legalized them by never calling them. Now all of a sudden its a foul. And for any other GK, he needs to be stronger, right? Absolute farce. Couldn't put it better than this tweet:
Man City3 - 0Brentford

Thought about it for quite a long time and would be happy to be corrected : IMO this was the best performance from an individual player this season in pl, can't really think of any performances other than Doku's own performance vs Everton or Liverpool. But that aside, the first half was concerning. It was like Doku and 10 other guys. Highest paid coach and highest paid player in the same team and the entire game plan is pass it to Doku and say wallahi.

Man City
Liverpool1 - 1Chelsea

Watched from 70 minutes, I still regret watching this. What a horrible waste of time.
Bayern1 - 1PSG

I hate when a match's main talking point is referee. But this was one of the worst ref performance I've seen. That luis diaz dive decision was hilarious. Neuer is my motm.
Arsenal1 - 0Atletico Madrid

Probably the lowest quality semi final of champions league in a while. Dont feel like giving a motm because nobody deserves it. People may say Gyokeres for running at defenders, but he is a footballer not a donkey so I refuse to rate someone for running around.

Arsenal
Everton3 - 3Man City

Had an early appointment. So went to sleep, couldn't catch the match. And woke up at 5 am to see how my beautiful team has dropped 2 beautiful points on a beautiful monday. Putting this on my watchlist.
Chelsea1 - 3Nott'm Forest

Shit. Match but chelsea lost so, good.

Lyon W3 - 1Arsenal W

Would like to rewatch it when have the time.
Atletico Madrid1 - 1Arsenal

What a game. Mesmerizing breathtaking football slightly interrupted by 2 goals.

Atletico Madrid
Stockport County1 - 2Port Vale

The real ones know. Can't believe people missed the port derby for another cl deadrubber.
PSG5 - 4Bayern

Good luck choosing motm. OKD vs KDD went bar for bar. People may be harsh on olise but I have not seen someone making mendes this embarassed.
Newcastle3 - 3Liverpool

This isak comp had been sitting on my disc for a while... Couldn't upload it full.
Man City2 - 1Southampton

Snoozefest first half. Second half especially last 20 min were electric. Seeing the lineup, first thought was should have started wingers. These kind of opponents would be more than happy to sit back, giving you no space in middle. So you need wingers to stretch the pitch. Doku and Savio changed the game. Kovacic was very good. What a strike from both Azaz and Nico, absolute bangers. Marmoush and foden had absolute stinker. Don't get me wrong, savio drove up the pitch continuously when he came on but omd, he can't score a goal to save his life. He is getting his inho evoked again.

Man City
Dortmund2 - 2FSV Mainz 05

Just remembered this game and it again made me angry. One of the worst bottle in history of bottles, how do you lose to Mainz at home with title on the line after decades of failure. Missing a penalty and all those chances. This is what happens when you are just content with being there. Uncompetitive loosing mentality. First 1 star rating.
Man City2 - 1Arsenal

Never been so nervous in a long long time. This game delivered on the hype. Arsenal actually tried to play football which caught me by surprise. MOTM is impossible to choose. Haaland ran ragged gabriel saliba.Bernardo was everywhere. So was NOR. Doku did doku things. Khusa was monumental. And Rayan Cherki, what a goal. Big game big moment big players stepped up.

Man City
Portsmouth1 - 0Leicester

Next year, will they be down to north or south conference division?

Tottenham2 - 2Brighton

From neutral perspective, fantastic game. You could feel the nerve all throughtout. Two bangers of a goal. Mitoma majestic volley, goal of the season contender for me, first time volley into roof of the net, impeccable technique. Simons goal was also great. Beautiful curler. And that really should have been it. But spurs just did spursy and despite all those time wasting dramas, a bozo momemt from Danso and boom down you go 👋
