Chicago Fire3 - 1Vancouver Whitecaps
Very fun night at Soldier Field. Brought a friend to their first fire game. Always a good experience. Love having Mbokazi back in the lineup. Such a difference maker.
Chicago Fire1 - 1Inter Miami
The annual pink jersey, fake fan convention where half the people don’t even respect the game. Joking aside, fun game. Chris Brady played extremely well. Lewandowski goal was sweet.
Valencia0 - 5BarcelonaFeel like this could have easily been 10-0. Barca is a force
Arsenal2 - 1Chelsea
Game of the year for me. Love the style Arsenal is playing with.
Monterrey2 - 1Chicago FireMy Cuypers Fire jersey might have to hit my Depop store after this one. Can’t make me bleed my own blood. Happy with the effort overall. Wish the outcome was different
Nott'm Forest0 - 1Leeds
Great slow burn hate watch for me with the perfect ending. Glasser hater checking in
Hull City2 - 0Man United
Top of the table. Hull city. Great start to the season. Showed up to the occasion
Arsenal3 - 0Coventry
Great start to the season for Tzolis. Hope they continue to play freely.
Chicago Fire2 - 1Portland Timbers
Great win. Sleepy second half. Sad they blew the clean sheet for Brady. Wish guys like Bamba and Puzo would let more shots fly instead of making an extra pass. Feel like we left a goal on the board. Nice to see my guy Barrosso have a good game
Arsenal3 - 0Man City
Great start to the season. Love to see Arsenal playing more freely. Hope that continues
Cruz Azul1 - 2Chicago FireTop win of the season by far. Hope that’s a big confidence booster for this team. Major win. PUSO BABY POP OFFFFFFFF
Chicago Fire3 - 1Santos Laguna
A bit of a maddening first half. Feel like the fire really struggled with spacing. Couple great saves from both goalies. Hate to see Barroso have a tough game. Amazing to see a Lewandowski goal. Fun experience. First seatgeek experience. Size of the stadium has me so excited for the new stadium. Most away fans I’ve ever experienced at a Fire game. Sad I can’t go on Thursday, will probably feel like an away game. Cant get enough of Gutmans aggression
Leeds0 - 1Man CityRandomly watched this on a plane ride. Couldn’t believe how many people booed the fasting break for Ramadan. Cherki masterclass. One million blown opps in the first half for Leeds
New York City3 - 1Chicago FireBack line is legit dog shit without Mbokazi. Trying really hard to not overreact to the last two games. A couple of certified banger goals for NYFC. Love how yankee stadium looks visually for games. Hope manzuetto isn’t turning us into a marketing sideshow prior to the new stadium
Inter Miami3 - 2Chicago FireInexcusable loss imo. Felt like the team was forcing things to Lewandowski too much at times. Attack constantly playing with their food blowing scoring opps. I fear losing Cuypers will be devastating. Cant stand the Fire continuing to give up PKs. Miami own goal was one of the funniest ever.
Spain1 - 0Argentina
Forgot to post this one in real time. Such a fun summer following the tournament. Feel like the win was a testament to La Masia. Loved to see Spain win with class while Argentina exposed themselves as scum. In love with Lamine Yamal can’t wait to watch him for years to come.
France0 - 2SpainTactically brilliant game for Spain. Hope they win the whole thing
Norway1 - 2England
Great game. Was happy to see Eze provide some good minutes. So happy for Jude Bellingham. Been so fun watching him in the World Cup
USA1 - 4Belgium
Sad outcome to a fun run. Felt like a wide open chaotic game where we looked nervous af and didn’t capitalize. The third and fourth Belgium goals will haunt me for a while. Pulisic no show was disappointing The haters won today.
Portugal0 - 1SpainBit of a sleeper. I want Lamine Yamal having nightmares about the Stars and Stripes. Feed me Spain. I’m ready
Mexico2 - 3EnglandOne of my favorite matches of the World Cup so far. Love seeing Bellingham look like he’s having fun playing
Chicago Red Stars3 - 2Utah Royals
Awesome game to experience in person. High quality goals. Sam Staab direct free kick goal was sick. Going to try to make it to more games in Evanston
Brazil1 - 2NorwayMade me happy to watch Ancelotti and Neymar come up short. Haaland is a legend of the game. Monster
Argentina3 - 2Cape Verde Islands
Insane game. So much fight from Cape Verde
USA2 - 0Bosnia & Herzegovina
Major W especially a man down. Scary hours without Balogun next match. Love this team
England2 - 1Congo DR
Fun hate watch while it lasted. Great game by Mpasi. Kane is a freak. Witch doctor = released. Serious lineup concerns for Tuechel that need to be addressed
Mexico2 - 0Ecuador
Awesome game for Mexico. Love the energy of the team. Love seeing all the jerseys around Chicago.
Colombia0 - 0PortugalReally wish Columbia pulled this game off. So many good chances. Great game from Diego Costa
Türkiye3 - 2USAA real bummer of a loss that shouldn’t have happened. Hope that doesn’t negatively affect our guys heads too much. Liked what I saw from Pulisic in his minutes. Berhalters banger was sick. Guler is a baller
England4 - 2Croatia
Finally caught up on this one. Happy to see Jude Bellingham having fun on the pitch. Harry Kane continues to have a masterful season. Declan continues to be a setup wizard. Cool team. Hope England goes far. Would love to visit Croatia one day. Adding it to the list. Some insane saves by Livakonic
Norway3 - 2Senegal
Love seeing Ismalia Sarr show up on the big stage. Wish they could’ve pulled off the upset
Ecuador0 - 0Curaçao
Eloy Room is a fucking baller. Stood on his head all game
USA2 - 0Australia
To the haters dismay, we might be good. Was ready to get the Herb Brooks bruise on your leg speech to PULISIC
Brazil1 - 1Morocco
Very fun first half. Loved both goals. Feel like both teams had chances they just didn’t convert in the second half. Hoping Vini pops off in the World Cup.
USA4 - 1Paraguay
Feel like the team looked really good in friendlies versus Senegal and Germany. Wasn’t sure how much stock you could really take from those games. With that being said, awesome start. Such a fun game. Balogun second goal was sick af. As a huge Reyna hater, i was really impressed with his goal. Hoping pulisic is okay. Poch needs to keep these guys from getting too high because I for one am on cloud 9. Excited for all the games tomorrow.
Mexico2 - 0South Africa
Really bad debut for South Africa. Sad to see Brian Gutierrez completely whiff on a good goal chance. Love to see multiple Fire players on the pitch and how active Mbokazi was on the back line. Great atmosphere in the stadium coming through the TV. So pumped the tournament is here. Don’t like so many red cards.
USA1 - 2Germany
Very cool to experience in person. Post London trip, I’m really not a big fan of the NFLization of football in the US. As a big Fire supporter, it upsets me at matches like this one or the Inter Miami games when the stadium sells out. Like where tf are you weekly for the local club whose ticket costs are a fraction of the price. Feel like the US had a 20-30 minute stretch in the first half where they looked really good. Loved the Robinson goal. Hated that we got caught sleeping on the Havertz goal. Bit of a sleeper in the second half until it got chippy. Excited for the World Cup
