It was the battle of Stamford Bridge all over again. The game started pretty slow, which is expected when both teams just kinda see what the other does. But the first half truly came alive when Schjelderup scored an absolute screamer, probably meant as a cross but no one will care about that in a week. Bellingham scoring the equalizer felt almost poetic, especially with his goal in extra time as well making it 6 this tournament. I think the second half + extra time was quite enjoyable, it was a very close battle but England were always the ones in control. Which is expected to be honest, I love Norway, I love Haaland, I love Ødegaard, but at the end of the day they do have a weak team and that was gonna cost them eventually. Regardless of that Norway can be incredibly proud of their achievements, they still gave a great fight to the end. Things were expected of Norway but I don’t think most expected them to do this well. England played well; you really noticed the difference when Rice went off at half-time, though. He is so important. It wasn’t flashy from them but none of their games have been, they play the game and get the job done. Konsa deserves a lot of praise for having such a good tournament. Saka played well when he got subbed on too, wonder if he’s gonna start a game finally. 3 of the ‘protected’ teams (France, Spain, England, and Argentina) are in the semifinals now, with Argentina expected to make it 4 out of 4. Interesting i suppose, i generally like that so the 4 best teams can only meet in the semi final, but all of them actually reaching the semi final feels somewhat weird. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want the best teams in this stage of the tournament. Man of the match can only be Bellingham of course, he was incredible and that doesn’t really need any explanation. Do want to say that Konsa is 2nd for me as man of the match, just so great. Anderson did well

norway world cup run will be remembered. i enjoyed seeing their supporters doing the rowing every match and uplifted their spirits and hopes. until next time vikings!

Game started very strong from the English men and them scoring was just a matter of time and with almost the first attack Norway shocks England and score from a terrible cross that turned to be an amazing goal somehow. Afterwards, Gordon assists England’s main man this tournament Bellingham and finishes it like a striker. Second half was the complete opposite, Norway were much better and attacked the whole 45 mins almost, this was expected due to Rice’s substitution for injury unfortunately. Extra time is where the difference happened, England were much stronger physically and really took advantage of that by controlling the whole half without any problems from Norway. Things went slightly better for Norway in the second extra half but England were very smart dealing with the situation which is normal to them due to the teams and competitions they play in on a regular basis. Congratulations to the lions and better luck for the vikings, in their first competition since a very long time they can leave with their heads up, deserved W for England.. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇳🇴

Pretty good match, both teams had lots of chances to come out ahead, England just played the marginally better game. National team Jude is a completely different beast, Gordon and Spence off the bench both played well too, I thought Konsa at RB was a poor choice when lineups released but he put in a very good shift didn't noticr many mistakes from him. WE'RE ON OUR WAYYYYYY! SO HAPPY! Really disappointed with the performance through 90 minutes, but they absolutely did the job in the last 30! Jude clutching once again! I really believe this might be the year, so much hope with this amazing squad! Once again, my CB, Ezri Konsa what a shift! Best defender on the pitch by a mile! Bellingham masterclass, Anderson was excellent. Spence at LB should be starting over O'Reilly for me! COME ON ENGLAND AND BRING ON ARGENTINA/SWITZERLAND!!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🦁🦁🦁❤️
