Trying to write this review for days has been hard but here we go. When I think of Leo Messi, I see more than just another football player. Because for me, he was never just a football player. He is one of those people who, without ever knowing you, somehow becomes part of your memories, your different phases of life, your family conversations, your victories, your defeats, and even the way you learned to love something. Messi taught me that football is more than just a sport. I saw him turn football into something else. He taught me how to love it, how to feel it. He taught to love the team that right now is the team of my whole heart, Barça. I saw him do things that looked impossible. I watched him lose, win, fall, get back up, and chase that World Cup that for so many years seemed impossible. But what a surprise life had waiting for him. Watching him lift that World Cup was more than just watching Messi win a trophy. It was seeing that little boy from Argentina, who had dreamed of playing for his country since he was young, finally give Argentina that third star after more than ten years of trying. And on a personal level, it felt like watching a family member finally achieve something they had been chasing for years. That’s why it hurts. Because it’s not only about watching him realize that it’s time to say goodbye. It’s about realizing that we’re growing up too. It hurts because we know that phases end. It hurts because eventually there will be a last game, a last time seeing him wear that shirt. But I also feel deeply thankful. Thankful for making me love this sport. Thankful for making me live through moments that I will always carry in my heart. Thankful for teaching me that losing doesn’t mean the story is over. Thankful for being there through so many different stages of my life without ever knowing how much he meant to me. + more in comments.

So usa absolutely dog walked them but I was more intrigued by the chat it felt like this.

What a way to completely mess up a game by Mexico. The first half should’ve ended very differently, but Mexico’s failure to put the ball behind the net cost them dearly. The second half was what it was and we have to start questioning why a goalkeeper that played in the World Cup a couple of months ago looked like a complete amateur here. Objectively speaking I liked the style Rafa is implementing on the team, but you have to do more. A lot of work to be done because a 3-0 is not the way to go. Oh well it’s Saturday so vamonos al BAILE!

What an interesting match! I wonder what it feels like to be an Indian fan sometimes cause I would’ve been emitted to a hospital a while ago! (Eu sigo muitos brasileiros para incluir todos nos meus tags, mas hoje foi um otimo dia de bookd! Adoro voces!)

W experimental game for Rafa, considering this was the perfect game to experiment with lineups and what he has for future games.

What a stupid cardio game. Ref was a big fat dumby. Players did fuck all for the most part. Atleast Peru is well Peru and didn’t humiliate us hard before the US game. Whatever Viva Mexico cabrones

Mexico
Mexico1 - 1Peru

Handball in the box not given which then led to Peru’s goal but alright i guess. Props to Rafa for actually trying out different players because we know previous managers wouldn’t have done this.
Jamaica0 - 1Honduras

HONDURAS STAYS ALIVE IN THE COMPETITION. Fully deserved especially after they were completely robbed and given a red card because a Jamaican player shoved an Honduran player into another Jamaican player resulting in a crash. Yes you head that right, the one that got shoved and crashed into another player was the one that for a red. Insane 😭 Felicidades Honduras!!! 🇭🇳🇭🇳🇭🇳

pelo menos nn foi uma derrota!! VAMOS PUMAS

Toluca W2 - 7Tigres UANL W

We’re so back! In reality, Toluca were just very poor tonight and Tigres took advantage with an inspired Thembi Kgatlana! To make matters worse Toluca received a red card and Tigres went straight on the attack and kept scoring. On the negative side though Mariza received a red card and Maricarmen will also miss the next game due to accumulating yellows… anyways I’m happy with the result!

Toluca2 - 3Santos Laguna

This is what Liga MX and Football is all about. Santos is literally one of the worst teams in the tournament, but what happened today? They came back from a 2-0 deficit and managed to turn it around and leave with the 3 points! Toluca today underestimated Santos and paid dearly. This is not to say that they didn’t have opportunities, oh they had a lot, but Santos were more effective. Carlos Acevedo was also on a roll today. Lovely game!

Came for a Chivas hatewatch and got the absolute worst i could even imagine. First Corinthians insulting me and now this? What have i done wrong? Neutrally speaking it was fun i guess, but i wasnt neutral here. Positive part is that it didn’t end 0-0.

Cruz Azul W3 - 2Pumas UNAM W

not even joking when I say I want a new keeper after this match like Chelsea did with Sanchez
U.N.A.M. - Pumas3 - 1Leon

Very fun second half. Not many were expecting Pumas to win this game, but the advantage of playing at home really played a role here. Leon didn’t start off with their best players and it ended up hurting them in the long run while Pumas genuinely scored some golazos and managed to get the win.
