If Liverpool had just won this match then they would've been prem champions with 100 points, undefeated across an entire 38 game season, and they were already eventual UCL winners. This one result stopped that Liverpool team from having the unequivocally best season in Premier League, if not English football history. It would've eclipsed either of the Manchester sides treble winning campaigns, Leicesters 5000/1 odds title win, and Arsenal also being invincibles.
