Asked Arsenal to beat a team with a bird in their logo and this is what they give me

Bayern were so dominant in the first half the fact they gave up that lead is just ridiculous man 😭 Fun watch though like what even random blue flare, missed pen, what more can you want really. At the end of the day they equalised because they wanted my prediction to be right. Just how the cookie crumbles

Cannot believe City were able to come back and tie it up after going down 2-0. Bayern looked really good in the first half but the second half was just very disappointing from them

bayern away is… no longer scary? 😰 confusing match, i only caught the second half but from what i saw bayern were controlling the game mostly and forcing city on the back foot. unfortunately they played too cautious in the final 3rd and ended up giving away possession constantly leading to the equaliser. can’t say city didn’t deserve it towards the end unfortunately but bottling a 2-0 lead is ridiculous.

personally if i hear one more person say pecked by the seagulls i might end it. if we all collectively forget this game it’ll go away eventually

Toluca W2 - 7Tigres UANL W
We’re so back! In reality, Toluca were just very poor tonight and Tigres took advantage with an inspired Thembi Kgatlana! To make matters worse Toluca received a red card and Tigres went straight on the attack and kept scoring. On the negative side though Mariza received a red card and Maricarmen will also miss the next game due to accumulating yellows… anyways I’m happy with the result!

Raphinha does not play football. He has not played football for three years. He has no interest in it. He is above it. Instead, he has wandered the streets of Barcelona, just being Raphinha. It is more than enough. Existence is enough. Raphinha is enough. Sometimes he goes to a cafe and has a coffee. Sometimes he has a coffee and a cigarette. Sometimes he has a coffee and a cigarette and a think. Shall I have another cigarette after this cigarette, he wonders. Maybe, maybe. Should I ask the waitress to top up my coffee? Perhaps...but what is coffee? And why is waitress? There are no answers. There are no questions. So no coffee for Raphinha. Existence is enough. He lights another cigarette. Hmm, mouth's a bit dry with all this smoking, he notes. I could do with something to wash this cig down. Raphinha is a performance artist. He is a serious man. He makes Eric Cantona look like Michael McIntyre. A couple of times during his stay in Barcelona he has staged situationist happenings. On one occasion, he sauntered down a length of turf at the Camp Nou and nonchalantly kicked a ball into a net against Racing Santander. Another time, he hovered above the turf and guided a ball into a net against Madrid. You would know these artistic stunts as "goals". Raphinha is aware they are known as "goals", too, but he also knows they are not goals. They are his interpretations of goals, via the medium of goals. Football fans may consider them goals if they wish, but they are pigs. To Raphinha, these goals, which are not goals, are studies of time, space, energy, humanity. They are his philosophic digressions, poems, novels.

I can’t believe we got pecked by the seagulls, FUCK! Always hated seagulls… Anyway, Brighton were brilliant. Faster at every step, absolutely frenetic pressing, and just wanted it more. Made everything very uncomfortable and difficult for us, and played their hearts out. Kudos to them, well played. I haven’t seen the Arsenal this off the pace in a long time. It wasn’t a matter of not having any ideas going forward, we seemed to have plenty of ideas, we just couldn’t pull any of them off it seemed. Slow to everything, midfielders dropping deep to receive and leaving an enormous void in the center of the pitch, where the Brighton press just snapped up every loose ball or loose pass. It’s like we knew what to do, we just weren’t doing it. Reacting instead of acting, and facing a tempo this high, that was a recipe for disaster. Watching the players get visibly more and more frustrated as they misplaced passes, mistimed runs, and were beaten to loose balls made me unbelievably frustrated as well. I’m not going to let emotion take over and declare the sign of the end times. Yes, we were dogshit on the pitch, but I’m not really worried yet. Some players could really be giving me more (ahem, Eze, looking at you…), and certain combinations just weren’t working at all (Konsa and Gabriel looked uneasy next to each other), but there’s certainly a cause for this which I’m confident they’ll iron out. The whole match looked like Arsenal had all been poisoned, and Brighton had all smoked crack in the tunnel before coming out, and we’ve seen enough of this Arsenal team to know that’s pretty out of character. Shit games happen, better now than later I guess. Saka is indecisive in front of goal, and is taking 1-2 too many touches. Havertz needs to put that away, but nice combo with Gyokeres. Calafiori is a total footballer. Dowman🫰 The only silver lining is that we didn’t give up a 2-goal lead, at least… The next seagull I see, I’m wringing its neck, sorry mate. COYG❤️🤍
