This team is very bipolar. Playing great football one game and horrible the next. Maricarmen Reyes thank you.

Those 6 minutes between the two goals was PEAK, but the rest of the match…

Game lived up to expectations. 2-0 lead was not enough for Chivas and America managed to make a comeback. This game had a little bit of everything, rough tackles, good goals and a couple of “fights.” This is what Liga MX is all about. The biggest teams in Mexico went all out and while I had a 3-2 prediction, I’m glad we got this many goals. The bicycle kick from Borja was a thing of beauty, I don’t think anyone tops that this season. Great game!

América W5 - 2Tigres UANL WIf you’ve followed Liga MX Femenil for a while then you know exactly why this result came to be. It’s not even that it was a bad game, but it’s a result that had a long time coming. For the longest Tigres and America have been going toe to toe and Tigres for the most part had them edged out due to the fact that they just had the experience to get through the games. What have we seen in the last couple of years? Tigres had half-assed as an institution and made horrible decisions in terms of transfers and the team has lost a lot of quality. Sure we can still get results against most teams, but America is not a regular team. In recent tournaments they kept losing to Tigres and the only difference afterwards was that they kept signing better they kept working harder and the results are starting to show. I’m not saying Tigres isn’t working just as hard, but that only gets you so far, you actually have to make quality signings as well or else results like today are only a matter of time. Well this was a long rant, but a much needed one. Anyway I’ll still support the club, vamos Amazonas, vamos Tigres 🐯
U.N.A.M. - Pumas3 - 1LeonVery fun second half. Not many were expecting Pumas to win this game, but the advantage of playing at home really played a role here. Leon didn’t start off with their best players and it ended up hurting them in the long run while Pumas genuinely scored some golazos and managed to get the win.

That feeling when you're on 'cloud nine' for so long only for your perfect prediction to be snatched away in the 87th minute...

Almada went with a different approach today and decided to rest our entire starting 11 apart from Ramon Juarez. Even though this was our bench, we still looked good in that first half and even managed to score a nice goal, by Icaro, from outside the box into the bottom right corner. Things did slow down in that second half but we defended well enough to maintain our lead and managed to kill the game off with a goal from Brian Rodriguez. Rumors are saying he might not leave to Ajax. 👀 Ramon Juarez gets my potm but I also want to highlight Cardenas who had a very solid game today. Many people were criticizing our wins because they were against “weaker teams” which is fair but yet a lot of the other big teams have also struggled against some of these “weaker teams” so theres that. Our next matches are against Monterrey, Tijuana, Cruz Azul and Chivas all of which will be difficult matches but also a good test to see how good this squad is.
