sunnyday alex

What in the maguire handball 😭 I'd understand the switch from Ipswich players if they had no chance against the refs like that. Other than the poor defending this is a lot of United's luck too.

Really high intensity with all sorts of weather. Credits to Everton line of defense but also Bournemouth's amazing ball progression! Too bad they couldn't kill the game and concede at the last minute again. I think Petrovic was brilliant nevertheless. But, as everyone else has seen... Alex Scott was the massive butter to the bread. His ball control, composure, decisions and confidence was outstanding even when playing on a yellow. Looking forward to see more of him!

You can say you don't care about the Community Shield or whatever, but I feel like this exposed so many of both teams' preparations going into the new season: Arsenal looks solid and they're playing hoops here and there, have no problems with both attacking and defending, with or without the ball. Manchester City has clear chemistry and communication issues and I doubt Maresca is able to fully control this team and ignite passion within them. Like... whatever happened to Foden man. I'll give some credits for Josko in the City side. 😭 For Arsenal, watching Ødegaard is really such a joy, while Raya's safe hands is just chef's kiss.
