Watched as a neutral and found this absolutely full of tension and surprises! The curse of the Azteca made a promising prelude to one of the best matches I've seen the England team play. Mexico has so much potential and pressed really hard in the first half, but got overpowered by the start of the second half. But the crazier part is how Mexico seems to start getting the hang of it in the last minutes, just minus the barely clinical finishes. Dan Burn's last minute defending with his life is one thing to witness!

Not your average enjoyable game, but it's fuj to see Spain absolutely smashing and isolating Argentina from the start of the match until the 108th minute. What makes it crazy is that as much as I hate Argentina's corrupt World Cup campaign, I thought they played well in this game, but Spain displayed perfect football that gave them the inevitable loss. Well, if anything, it means they should stop taking the cheating route next time though because the final becomes a humiliation ritual...

France4 - 6EnglandThe BEST match in the entire history of World Cup. People's Final. Playing with so little pressure and just pure football and respect gives you THIS. England started out so brilliant and France looks like the same washed form that we see versus Spain in the semifinal, didn't look like they want to win at all other than Mbappe and Olise. Cherki and Malo Gusto seem to have attitude and mentality problems. When they're seitched out and better defenses are deployed in the 2nd half, France becomes an entirely different team, they look like they can get 5 back at England. The penalty conceded by France saves England's day, and while Dembele looks like he can put more past Henderson, Jude's plays saves the day and even nets his own record-breaking goal after giving that opportunity away to help Bukayo with his hattrick. The power of love for football and friendship wins!

France0 - 2SpainSpain earned my respect. Renderring a team like France to a 'for example, nothing' team is crazy feat. The whole team played their part, but I personally find Marc's efforts special! Playing like that on a yellow is insane.

Not as poorly reffed as the vs Egypt ones, but there's way too much favor to Argentina regarding their fouls, how can they get away with WWE moves? Basically Argentina couldn't capitalize vs 10 until they were given all the momentum and Switzerland players begin to feel the fatigue. Embolo was careless with the simulation though.
Norway1 - 2EnglandA fun back and forth match until in the extra time the Norwegian players start to limp a lot and that's when England (Jude) capitalized. I think Bukayo's efforts shouldn't go out of the window, while the team's overall strategy managed to dampen Ødegaard who's been the heart of the Norway team's games.

Sadly this match confirms KDB & Lukaku are washed and Doku can't do much. 😭 Belgium needs a lot of reorganizing. Spain still needs to do better for their caliber but Mikel Merino, as always, comes to save the day. What a brilliant guy!

A tight game until in the 2nd half France switched up things and Mbappe started spamming unreal balls forward. What a guts to shoot that in front of the goal! I really like France's chemistry on the pitch, but Morocco deserves their flowers for keeping up until that moment they slipped up.

Also, why is Portugal playing with so little chemistry? It's baffling. Two star rating because they can still play football.

An entertaining watch for the first half. Mikel Oyarzabal looked clueless most of the time but his luck is over the roof. Pedri and Rodri needs to try harder and do better though. Cucurella was unlucky to not have a brace and got one goal taken off his credit. Speedy recovery to Yamal! Unfortunately I have not much idea about the Saudi Arabian squad, and not much of them stood out to put up a decent fight like Cabo Verde...

I have no idea how Canobbio hasn't been sent off in the first half with all the tackles, whining and challenges. Amazed by the Cabo Verde mentality. Have to say their supporters are truly the best 12th player in the stadium! Also, big big shoutout to that direct free kick shot. It was breathtaking to witness.

One of the most breathtaking 0-0 matches ever. The so-called dark horse Belgium takes on the country under spotlight. Iran's physicality and fearlessness is superb and definitely catches Belgium off-guard, manages to render Lukaku and De Bryune helpless. Leo Trossard is an amazing player amidst all the other non-performing Belgians.

If you like to watch plenty of ways to goal, I guess this match is it. 😭 Other than that, watching 11 v 9 and Qatar desperately wanting the match to end immediately is just painful.

Kylian's second goal was pure banger. Nicholas Jackson's unlucky bounce off the post and Maignan's feet was unreal. Entertaining game and much more equal than I expected.

The difference of the average level of the squad is too stark. Dutch has anything and everything ready at disposal. Not the best but they have depth for every position. Meanwhile Sweden's midfield, defense and GK looks poor from the start to the point the forwards had to drop deep to get the ball... they should've just rotated everyone and lose everything in this game and only hope for the best vs Japan later on.

Everton1 - 2BournemouthWhen it started raining, I just know this game would be kinda dull... It's been the trend around these matchweeks. Bournemouth had chances to blast it past Pickford but wasted their chances. They struggle retaining good possession and the ball went out of play pretty frequently. Everton conceded a red card but Bournemouth couldn't capitalize on it. If anything, Everton looked stronger after playing with 10.

Intense. West Ham played with determination. I think Jarrod Bowen was really great. When he left the pitch, West Ham's attacks became too blunt.
West HamBournemouth2 - 2Man UnitedI don't think the ref is soft throughout the match, just a bit inconsistent. Tavernier was getting beat up every now and then and United players escape bookings. Then Mbeumo fall down and a booking was called. Good thing the cherries are playing in Vitality so even when they're losing momentum, they pick up pretty quickly again. Then Jimenez had to concede an unnecessary penalty after a great first half display. Notably, both Petrovic and Lammens's saves were immense. A result that both of them deserve for the way they performed.

Absolute thriller at Old Trafford. For the first half Liverpool made unreal slip ups that lead to two goals lead, basically a goal and a cushion considering the way Liverpool performs. But the second half, when you see Benny subbed off you just know something was gonna happen, and, there goes Liverpool's two goals. Good thing United knows not to give up. The finishers need to do better though.
Arsenal1 - 2BournemouthIt's a delight to watch this Bournemouth squad play on a much bigger stadium because people deserve to see the brilliance of their chance-taking. I wouldn't say decision making, I believe they just keep taking chances after chances and try to convert something out of it. Facing the top of table in their home stadium is no easy feat, but they do it so well like they weren't under pressure. Alex Scott is the star of this match with how he keeps the ball flowing. Tavernier's ball paths are amazing too. Meanwhile, the Arsenal squad looks fatigued and choppy after the international break, they struggle to keep their OOP form, which is usually their strength.

A match to see if you want classy football. Saka's brilliance in this match is out of the world, but Viktor's work rate is insanity. This is probably just a glimpse of Viktor's potential going to the next seasons. It also marks Trossard's first successful assist to Viktor after giving multiple crosses his way! Sadly Fulham barely put up a fight and Arsenal was just, like, respectful throughout the 2nd half. Not a battering kind of club.

One of 25/26 Bournemouth's best displays during the 2nd half of the season. The players have all fulfilled their roles and became the monster that makes the Top 6 teams shiver. Absolutely beauty of efforts to play the ball forward and when they lose the ball, Bournemouth fights for all the balls to get it back and bring it back forward. Since learning how to briefly retain possession and make bettet decisions, they're absolutely unstoppable. Senesi and Truffert became pivotal for the start of their build-ups, but the brilliant of Adams and, oh my word, Scott! Makes it so fun to watch. Tavernier and Brooks are such a blessing to the team and was unlucky to not leave their mark here. Bournemouth's performance deserved them a win, sadly City got lucky when Haaland converted the rebound.

PSG1 - 1ArsenalArsenal's solid defense proved to be bulletproof. Questionable reffing from the start because how can you warn time wasting from the 40th minute and book someone for barely any time wasting for the 45. Then from the second half the reffing completely changed the game. Every 50/50 went to PSG's favor, and then the pen happened, and the ref even stopped the play to book Arsenal. Anyone with eyes would see how that stopped Arsenal's momentum and gave PSG the momentum that in the end they couldn't even capitalize because Arsenal played so well, and had to be patient to try their luck in shootouts. What a weird, corrupted UCL Final.
ArsenalArsenal2 - 0EvertonMight be a match that solidified Arsenal's grip on the trophy, sadly it was ruined by the following run of games. I think Everton played more than brilliantly, solid defenses, and despite all the shots from Arsenal, it was hard to crack them open until Max, Vik and Nelli came in as Arteta sharpened the spears, and the Viktor Gyökeres 89' classic poacher's goal happened. The goal makes you think that's probably the first and last chance ever of getting past Jordan Pickford, but the Max Dowman goal is just... cherry on top. 🤩

The funniest game I've watched in a long time. How did Arsenal win without scoring a goal? How did Wolves lose despite scoring THREE goals? Owen Goal is on fire in this match... A kind of match I'll retell over and again and sounds like a lie, but it's not. 🤭 I'll give it 4 stars instead of 3 because it's worth watching and be in awe of, but not a 5 star because it's actually not the best kind of performance for both...
