Unfortunate loss sure, but cmon, first AFCON appearance and not only you qualify for the World Cup, but you also made it to the final? Absolute cinema, Malawi should absolutely be proud of themselves And ofc, GG Cameroon, first Afcon title after defeating 12 time champion Nigeria? Good job, amazing even

Thought this game would be much closer, but Cameroon absolutely dominated here, Malawi wasnt able to bring anything today. Happy for Cameroon, first time champions of wafcon, hopefully by the next edition teams will be even better, because this wafcon was very enjoyable despite caf being fucking idiots throughout.

Wow what a final, perfect performance by Cameroon. Get the goals scored in the first half then defend your lead perfectly in the second. Stunning!!!

both teams made tournament history and it was beautiful to watch from the group stages. Cameroon utterly dominated and Malawi's defense just couldn't hack it. even though they will be upset knowing they didn't play their best football, Malawi should absolutely be celebrating qualifying for the WWC. post WAFCON thoughts: despite CAF's poor organisation and advertising of the tournament, each team played their hearts out in every game. so many overlooked teams caused upsets for tournament favourites. so many players took the chance to shine for their countries despite not getting as much game time for their clubs. messy group stages forced us to try and work out who needed what to qualify and coaches and fans were literally trying to figure it out on the sidelines (#justiceforZambia😭). it's clear to see that the future of African women's football is very bright!!! Michaely Bihina, Ines Konan, N'Sira Safi, Marie Ngah Manga stocks are UPPP📈

generationally bad performance from malawi's keeper. loved to see cameroon's attack have the confidence to take on players, lots of good chances created and a well deserved win

Extremely proud of Cameroon they really played exceptionally well. Even though Malawi didn't win, they must also be proud of themselves because they made history as well especially considering it was their first WAFCON
