Much better performance! The B team mostly played but our new signings shone, especially Ibrahim Mbaye, what a talent he is. Not going to discredit Wan-Bissaka, Ruggeri, Manzambi either. Suzuki and Harwood-Bellis were so comfortable on the ball, lovely to see. If Mbaye was on for longer he would've definitely got MOTM, but Taylor Harwood-Bellis, wow. It's like he'd been here forever, fit like a glove.(@alf sorry for praising a former scummer) Tammy with 2 goals too for confidence, running back 18/19 ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Started really well for Villa, i enjoyed Hemmings his plays a lot, before he also gave a brilliant trivela assist. Very simple but good finish from Tammy Abraham as well. After that it got shaky though, especially Bizot did some questionable things, but so did Mings. Midfield of Barkley and Bogarde did not help either. While a good free kick from Coventry; Bizot really should’ve done more there, he really just stood still and gave Torp all the space in the world. Good corner kick routine from Villa to get Mbaye his first assist and Barkley his goal who wasn’t marked at all. Mbaye absolutely brilliant by the way, great game from him. Second half definitely got better for Villa, with Suzuki being subbed on at half time which is a huge breath of fresh air. Another Tammy goal, with again a Villa player being unmarked at a corner kick to score. Villa played great for the most part today, shaky at times though also with players that i wouldn’t put in the best 11 of Villa. Harwood-Bellis had a good game, Wan-Bissaka was quite good, Mbaye was brilliant, Hemmings was incredible, Manzambi also had a good game coming off the bench. So it’s looking very promising, as always people write Villa off early season, but if everyone is fit and available they look very good. Not much to say about Coventry, they scored a goal i guess, from a free kick so let’s see if they can score from open play lmao, their defense was atrocious. Unfortunate for them their one sided rivalry ended in a loss at home 🥰

Bizot being subbed off at half is so embarrassing man oh my god. Bogarde playing awful as usual, not sure what Emery sees in him. Good for Tammy getting the brace, I didn’t even want him to start though so he did really well. Mbaye, Manzambi, and Ruggeri looked great, Hemmings looked alright but had a great assist though.
