Barcelona5 - 2Rayo Vallecano
Oh man watching this team has genuinely been the only highlight of this horrific week i couldnt stop smiling watching the game i miss them already. What a performance though. Every single goal was beautiful (especially yamals two insane finishes like hello hi that was crazy). Gordon tho especially i thought was so good and what the numbers or stats wont show you is the amount of runs the guy was constantly making all game stretching the rayo defence opening space for our players and pressing with such intensity omg i love him so much DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE ASSIST TO RAPHA FOR THE 4TH 😍😍😍 Xavi Espart stellar performance for mlst of the game although he was slightly shaky defensively in the secomd half i think his contributions in the first half far outweigh them the guy literally plays like a veteran. Hopefully the rayo curse is fully broken now lololol. Speaking of which, it is slightly disappointing to see rayo start to deviate from their identity and transition to a more risk averse style of play, the whole club unfortunately seems to be spiralling into ruins ☹️ Camello was a big positive for them tonight though, a pure 9s performance with 2 brilliant finishes and couldve very well bagged a third. I cant believe i have to wait 6 days before being able to watch them again💔💔💔💔💔😓😓😓😓

Wow united came ALIVE after the 2nd half. Bruno was absolutely unplayable that man is a literal genius. Rashford playing with confidence again was also a beautiful sight😍

Ughh unsuccesful hatewatch
Brentford3 - 0Tottenham
De Zerbi very clearly is still sticking to his principles and tactics of trying to draw in press to play through the high press centrally and Keith Andrews had the perfect counter by simply overloading the midfield leaving the central midfielders completely isolated which then lead to multiple turnovers from Spurs. I think its time for one of the most revolutionary tacticians of this generation to try and adapt to the new league around him and I dont see Spurs succeeding without this happening. (This is what i get for trusting Spurs and taking out Sangaré and benching Ajer for Van Hecke💔)
Brentford
Everton2 - 0Crystal Palace
Great great watch! Especially the first half which was very end to end. Palace had a couple of really good opportunites which they failed to capatilise from. Some of Whartons passes in that first half were magical. But eventually, when Everton got their chance KDH took it and from that point on it was pretty much all Everton. I thought Hackney, who ive loved from his performances with Middlesborough, was great and so was Ndiaye and George who reminded me of a younger Ndiaye! Very promising game if you are an Everton fan and I hope they keep this form up. Lovely football !!
Everton
Hull City2 - 0Man UnitedLammens and Rashford are the only United players who can walk out with their head held up as Hull absolutely overran them today. Incredible performance from every Hull player but especially the relentless defence who were near perfect. I think this game illuminated that United may still need reinforcements in midfield as the Tielemans-Santos duo were near invisible (not much better than Bruno-Mainoo pivot later on). They desperately need a profile like Baleba to really elevate and assist in their progressive transition game as he does so effectively. So many times today, especially in the second half United were granted so much space and time on the ball in the 11 and 8 zones but really unable to do much with it or truly link with the attack. It was almost reminiscent of the way the Argentina vs England game at the world cup went after England scored. Furthermore, I really felt like United kept trying to force things centrally rather than taking the game to the wings and stretching the pitch for Hull (which if you recall is how Argentina eventually came out on top). But, Hull were more than up to the task and stayed incredibly compact and tight nullifying the United attack, as despite the overwheling amount of shots United had, none of them were very threatening or productive positions. That said, United still did have 1 or 2 good chances but even then lacked the final quality to finish them off - namely the Mbuemo fast break near the 80th minute. However, I an still confident in Carricks managerial ability and believe this will only prove to be a rare undoing.

FIRST GAME OF THE PREM WE ARE SO BACK !!! (Sadly) Looks like its going to be another title for Arsenal. Beautiful football. Tzolis was stunning. Electric, direct, kept going at take on his man, by far my man of the match. Odegaard seems to finally be back to the peak of his powers too which is always a beautiful sight for football.
Arsenal
Tromso0 - 0BrightonNot a glamarous performance from Brighton at all. Office must have known they were going to play horrific and decided to refund everyone in advance.
Rayo Vallecano1 - 1Alaves
being able to see carles alena again was the only good thing about this match
Philadelphia Union2 - 2Inter Miami
Everytime these two play each other its cinema. DSC is incredible, Union would have scored more if not for him. Props to Iloski and Wagner too they was balling out today. Pierre and JJ also very impressive. Messi so little to do but does so much with it, magical goal and pre-assist as always.
