Cagliari
Man United1 - 1Tottenham
Both teams were pretty poor, you could say Spurs were better with their energy, but a draw was fair in the end. I thought Villa were the only team who can't beat 10 men, but clearly I'm proved wrong tonight. I think both teams will be in the top half come the end of the season, but right now they're in the trenches and need to battle their way through. The statistic of Man United not covering enough ground strikes again, they did not put enough effort in to win the game. With Spurs, their quality at both ends of the pitch is just lackluster or too inconsistent despite the good workrate. Thought Tonali was solid and he created the goal so he's my MOTM.

Tottenham
Osijek1 - 3Istra 1961
Definitely our best game this season. Truly an incredible performance from everybody on the team. Osijek's excellent early goal from free kick kinda threw us off but soon enough we locked in and put on a show. We were so good when we had and didn't have the ball. We truly gave Osijek no chance for another goal. Kumar and Nasraoui put one hell of a shift to make it stay that way. About the goals...truly every single one is so damn good. For the first goal, Frederiksen threw a long ball towards Maurić and Maurić while falling managed to send a rocket in the goal. Škafar Žužić is so incredible and he deservingly snagged his second goal of the season here. He puts his all in every game and he is only 17! Truly talented kid. At half time I was sad that Maurić got injured and had to go off but Ahmeti put one hell of a shift. His goal was the final nail in Osijek's coffin it was simply brilliant, he went through 5 Osijek players like it is nothing. So nice to see us score in the last minutes of the game instead of conceding. Fun fact: in the last 11 times we played against Osijek, they won only once and it happened earlier this year. We have become such a pain in the ass for them 😁 So proud of this team and for the work they put in for every game. I really hope we start winning more often because we have the talent and the quality. FORZA ISTRA 💚💛

Istra 1961
First half was a crazy battle from both teams, think we definitely should've been 2 or 3-1 up by half time if it wasn't for Kelleher. Mings vs Thiago was literally a Trash vs Garbage matchup, love Mings but how many times do I have to say he's not good enough for us anymore. Standout players for us were Jackson, Manzambi, McGinn, Gomes and Lindelof, but Kelleher was the difference in why Brentford walked away with a point so he's my MOTM. Many positives to walk away with despite 2 points dropped, but we're still winless at home which needs to change. Referee was absolutely woeful, supposed to be a crackdown on the throw ins but Kayode had about 20 minutes of the match with the ball in his hand. Thought he gave many soft fouls for both teams too. Also, Janelt easily could've been sent off for 2 yellows after the referee forgot he made a pull back before an advantage was given. Typical Premier League refereeing.

Iceland were simply much better and stronger and had better quality. Every attack was dangerous and their defense was so well put together we did not stand much chances against that. We put up a good effort and defended well in the first half. In the second half we were more open and played better but sadly that meant that every slip up would cost us and so we conceded 3 goals. We had a few chances to score in the 2nd half but simply it was not our day. Disappointing. Also disappointing how this match was not advertised at all and had a very low turnout especially since this is such an important game. I thought Balog and Jelenčić were our best players and they really left everything on the pitch. Jelenčić made a few crucial tackles which for sure would've ended up in goal. Balog was everywhere on the pitch and constantly pushed everyone to fight back. Honorable mention is Marković who was brilliant since the moment she came on and all the chances we had in the 2nd half were created by her. Sadly not a single one was converted. Not much to expect from the 2nd leg but at least I hope we cause them problems.

West Ham1 - 1QPR
As much as QPR got an undeserved penalty for their goal, I thought this was a fair result in the end. West Ham were really poor, they can't rely on Bowen for everything. Pierce Charles is some keeper, 4 clean sheets for Northern Ireland in the international break with a penalty save - and now another penalty save to get an away point against a strong side. Surely QPR will be up there still at the end of the season, they look very solid defensively.

Let the underestimations of Greece continue. Those lads should be extremely proud of giving everything, lot of defending but it got them over the line. Proud of this unbeaten run!

Really end to end in the last 10 minutes but we've got to be winning these kind of games. A shame I thought because the ladies played some great football too. Just missing that final third product.

Manzambi is genuinely something special, so relieved he didn't get injured from that wild tackle. Hilarious moment for the first Swiss goal @carbonfiverr 😭😭

One of the most one sided games I've seen in a while, the game was already done in the first half. Although Croatia should've had one goal with a sitter missed by Mateo Kovacic, it would've been far from deserved. England were better on every aspect and you could absolutely argue the scoreline flattered Croatia, it was extremely embarrassing for those top level players on their home soil to show absolutely no fight, at the end I felt bad for the schoolchildren in the crowd who had to watch that mess 😭

Aston Villa2 - 1Liverpool
What a day this was, 9 year old Theo was in dreamland with jubilant family around. Tim Sherwood gets a lot of stick for his time at Villa, most of it is rightfully so with his stubbornness in management, but let us not forget the memories he helped create in this FA Cup run. "Super Jack" Grealish making a name for himself this season and this was the biggest statement of them all, toying with Liverpool at every given chance. Prime Christian Benteke was something to behold, without shadow of a doubt he kept Villa up for multiple seasons with his lethal finishing. We all know this was the match that Liverpool saw him as a gem, a shame he didn't work out there in the end. His sale really hurt Villa and ultimately guided us to a dismal 20th place the next season, but I'm not here to dwell on the dark times. Fabian Delph leading by example with the armband, still scoring one of the most satisfying goals I've seen in football. Maybe I am biased, but the backheel from Benteke, the through ball from Grealish and then the cut back inside and the way the ball just bobbled over Mignolet into the back of the net, wow. To some it may seem like a simple goal, but Villans such as myself still remember every second to this day. The players defended for their lives at the end, Richardson with a goal line clearance, Given with his experience in helping us get over the line. And although there was a refereeing error in disallowing a Balotelli goal, I think we were definitely deserved winners for the passion those players gave on the pitch, something we didn't really see all season. Even when we were 1-0 down to a tidy Coutinho finish, I felt a spark telling something good is to come on this day. And it did. The 2010s don't give many good memories for Aston Villa, maybe why we all fondly remember this game, but I'm glad I do. I remember bragging at school about the result, I believe I earned it with the banter directed at my club constantly. We don't speak of the final though...

Despite the bottle, I can feel nothing but pride for this Greek side. I think Jovanovic made a mistake in being extra defensive, but it is what it is. GG my Dutch bro @carbonfiverr

Solid performance. Key points I'll take away - Gordon looking amazing in this system, he HAS to be the starting LW for years to come. Kane ghosting again but as usual finding a goal from nothing. I love him and the goals he scores but he needs to find the right balance of involvement in a game, as he either gets too involved or not involved at all, both which can affect the performance negatively. Good to see Ngumoha and Scott get on the pitch, two stars that are definitely part of England's future. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Lewis Hall are an effective fullback duo, impressed today and both proving Tuchel wrong about being left out of the World Cup squad in America. MOTM is Anthony Gordon, been up there with Bellingham and Kane performance wise for England as of recent, including his World Cup performances. Maybe Barcelona were right about his price tag all along....

very entertaining first half and the new bodies on the field definitely made a difference. i had hoped that maybe restes might start next game against italy, but italy tormented a turkish team that france struggled against last week, so unfortunately unlikely. side note, i think the first game i ever watched of da cunha has was that ucl match against rb leipzig earlier this month, and he played great this match so I look forward to seeing him more! tuning into a series a game will be a hard pill to swallow, but i’ll add it into the mix i suppose. i think zizous vision is starting to become clearer to me, but in execution with the low stakes of NL, it’s not really working. i mean coming out from an abysmal performance last week, you would have thought that the players would have more drive to score but i just didn’t see that at all? barcola this week looked like dembele did last week. barely any contributions made and somehow escaping lashings from fans as well. zidane if you’re reading this, against italy, i would like to see turffiert play alongside lacroix and jaquet and i dont want to see rabiot. i would also kinda like to see camavinga start again and play the full match, as aside from doue he was the only other one that caught my attention the first half

my actual reaction whenever I see Godts on my screen:

Belgium0 - 1France
great game that had plenty of entertainment despite the scoreline. france seemed to be conserving the energy for parts of the game and seemed happy to allow themselves to face some pressure (probably because no competent defender is scared of de ketelaare) but also had plenty of shots thanks to doue who just got unlucky at times. towards the end there was the realisation by zidane that forwards like olise, cherki and dembele would be needed to close out the game but even then they struggled controlling the game and their goal came from a transition. olise is my motm for scoring and obviously changing the game as soon as he came on but doue today was exceptional as well as godts and lavia for belgium 👍

First half was very entertaining but the second half not as much. Once again, defensive issues in the first half was present. Almada seriously needs to improve the backline as this is now the third match in a row where we concede 2+ goals in the first half. We should’ve been down 3-2 at ht but were lucky that Julian Carranza missed a sitter. We’re just asking to concede goals when we have Lara and Vazquez as our CB duo. Hopefully we get to see Santiago Bueno and Santiago Ramos get minutes soon because I can’t keep seeing those two start. 😵💫 With this win we head into the international break 2nd only behind Toluca due to goals scored. Our second half of the season will be tough but it will definitely be fun as we gotta play teams of other fellow bookd friends in our next four matches. 😭 🫡 At Home vs Monterrey ( @rebbernal and @ura_ni4 ) Away vs Leon ( @apg ) Away vs Atlas ( @valgiacinti ) At Home vs Pachuca ( @ruby , @theolovesvilla , and @carbonfiverr )

A few days ago Istra 1961 organized a meet and greet where I had the chance to meet my no.1 client atm, Emil Frederiksen, and my honorary client, Jan Paus-Kunšt. I had a lovely time and they were both so nice and talkative. I told Jan I hope he gets more minutes this season and he went into a rant that it is about time he plays more 😭 I am worried he will jump our no.1 keeper lol. Emil said he is really happy here and he loves the city, the team and the food. He was so excited that I brought the jersey to sign. I only regret not asking them more questions since not many people were around when I came but anyways a nice experience 🙏
