Very solid match! Everton was the much better side compared to Palace. In that first half, Palace had two very good opportunities and couldn’t score either which ultimately resulted an a banger from KDH. Palace didn’t really have any threatening chances in that second half.

Det er ærgerligt, at AGF’s defensiv skal være så svag og tynd. Hvis AGF overhovedet kunne tage sig sammen og købe lidt hjælp til den svage defensiv, havde resultatet set anderledes ud. Et par lyspunkter hos AGF var Frederik Emmery og Mads Hedenstad. Jeg synes, Emmery så rigtig farlig ud til tider og lignede en spiller med høj selvtillid. Han var ikke bange for at udfordre Benficas stærke defensiv. Hedenstad var grunden til, at kampen ikke endte 7-0. Han havde mange gode redninger og sørgede for, at AGF ikke blev blæst helt bagover. Jeg synes, AGF kæmpede en brag kamp, men modstanderen var simpelthen bare for stærk. Prestianni var Benficas MOM. Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐️

Review from the stadium, wow. So proud of this team. The fight they gave was unreal, against Europe's best team too, is even more impressive. AND to add we were missing 5 first team players, whereas they had their FULL team on the pitch. Despite the result, I feel nothing but positivity from this team. The George Hemmings and Ian Maatsen partnership was absolutely unreal. Brian Madjo an absolute tank. Kamara and Gomes were absolutely brilliant. Bizot even, fantastic. The positive adjectives for each and every player are limitless. I'm so proud of this team. May this be the beginning of a great era under the great Unai Emery. We love him to bits, we wouldn't change him for anyone. I hope we've proved a lot of doubters wrong, once again. The ceiling of this team is only held back by the PL's dodgy rules. Im ngl, i really enjoyed this match. Overall an enjoyable match with goals and LOTS of fouls 😭😭😭. If you haven’t already, you need to look up our first goal from Brian Rodriguez because it was a PHENOMENAL goal man. It’s probably the best goal I’ve seen recently. I think we did well but of course theres still a lot of things to work on. Also what a debut for Perea as he gets a goal to finish this game off. After this win, we’re now top of the league in Liga Mx and top of our Leagues cup group which is lowkey insane with this squad. 🤩

They wanted us to lose so bad but we still managed to get on top 😘 Two potential penalties for us and only one of them getting reviewed by VAR is frustrating and hilarious at the same time. I hope the ref is pissed that his ticket did not go through since clearly he wanted Hajduk to win so bad. Super proud of the boys though. First half was bad but we showed up in the 2nd half and never gave up 💚💛 we really have a solid squad going on and we could do great things with a reinforcement or two. Hope they get a well deserved rest now, especially Frederiksen since it is obvious that he cannot play the full 90 minutes and he is our best player atm, and prepare for the Slaven Belupo game. Very enjoyable match where we were able to see some LOVELY goals. We did very well first half and managed to score 3 and probably couldve scored more in that second half if we didn’t slow things down as much. Brian Rodriguez, such a good player and on his day he’s insane by scoring goals like that first one. He was one of the players we missed and needed in our first two liga mx games this season.

First half was the Joao Gomes show though, he was absolutely everywhere. Goals from Buendia and Lindelof to practically seal the game in the first half. Second half wasn't as smooth however there were some fluid little plays. BOUBA HAS RETURNED!! WE ARE SAVED. AND WHAT A WAY TO COME BACK WITH A GOAL TOO! Pathum goal was a good finish but it took us being a man down after McGinn took a knock to do so, where he eventually didn't come back on. Garnacho also went off with a bloody mouth before HT. Really hope that McGinn one isn't serious though, he looked in a lot of pain with the way he landed on his knee. MOTM is TJ Carroll as he played the whole game and was very solid throughout. Very good signs for the Villa youth as a whole. Onto Bayern, UTV 💜💙

An undeserving defeat. We played so well, I genuinely haven't seen us play this well live in a long time, it is a shame the result doesn't reflect that. With such a young squad I knew we would lack experience and the two first goals were conceded purely because of that. We desperately need a well seasoned centre back. MOTM is Frederiksen for sure, he was literally everywhere on the field and delivered two goals. I was afraid towards the end he would collapse on the pitch because he could barely stand :/ The atmosphere was amazing and I was glad the stands were so supportive of the boys despite having so much skepticism ahead of this season. A lot to build on and work towards, we have a tough schedule ahead and a win here would've given us a lot of confidence but oh well. Proud of everyone on the pitch, FORZA ISTRA SEMPRE 💚💛
