I stand in solidarity with all my Corinthians brothers and sisters...

Palmeiras
Sassuolo1 - 1Milan

Serie A shenanigans season 6 episode 7: 90 minutes at the Bernabeu are long but from what i’ve seen, 90 minutes in the Mapei Stadium - Citta del Tricolore are longer👀😭. Thats how long it took Milan to stink up the entire stadium against the almighty Sassuolo. You and I both know that they are preserving their energy to give us a scary halloween at San Siro, i mean it’s inevitable oh lord nuke me…

Sassuolo
Liverpool0 - 3Man City

Man City
Liverpool0 - 3Man City

This is the legacy City will leave in the game. Not the trophies, not the goals, but a project of industrial cheating for the sake of sportswashing. Losing this game bothers me not because of the result, but because it won’t mean anything. Losing is a part of the game. I’d rather lose like this than win by cheating. Because otherwise, what’s the point? If you can cook books and buy your titles, then why even waste more than 3500 minutes a season on what you know isn’t real? In many ways, this game was the symbol of the modern City era. Incredibly intelligent, intense, and skillful football, that was undermined by an unfair advantage. That was never a red. Gravenberch shouldn’t have gone in, but that was such a terrible call and just casts more of a shadow on this league, and on that club. Overall, pretty proud of the team before the red. They were brave, and even though they kept making mistakes, they kept trying. Gravenberch absolutely bossed Anderson and Enzo for the first hour. I thought Semenyo and O’Reilly were the standouts for City, just top top athletes. For us, VVD and Jacquet had another good game, and I thought Gravenberch and Macca did well. The attack again went missing, and that’ll have to change against Brentford. We’re missing three starters, so add that to the final notes. The concerning thing is how Iraola reacted to a man down. Park the bus and settle for the draw. At this stage in your managerial career, you have to be humble and realize when to settle to not lose. Excited for Europe, the English game is basically meaningless at this point. Enjoy the Emirati titles, Brexiteers. #scousenotenglish

Man United1 - 1Tottenham

First review after coming back from the real world. (School and social life and I don’t care about international friendlies, and the more I watch them the more money I give to the federations.) United are REALLY bad. I expected a Spurs loss but they absolutely toyed with United, which is especially concerning given that Carrick used to get results against teams that have the ball, now he doesn’t even get them there. Tielemans Bruno sharing a midfield won’t work, you need at least two physical monsters who eat up space in this league. Mainoo might be the most overrated player in this league, not his fault, United fans just act like he’s Xavi when really he’s no better than a James Garner. Mbeumo needs to be your 9, Cunha off the left, the Cunha 9 experiment loses too many balls and Mbeumo disappears on the right. The backline is awful, and if was Carrick I’d be pooping myself. Baleba is good but he won’t be able to save such a bad defense. Yoro was decent at RB, if only you had someone other than Shaw at LB. Spurs were okay. Gallagher works hard and should stay in the team but you can easily upgrade on him. Manzambi would’ve been the dream. Solanke or any striker is so important to this team, why De Zerbi was frothing at the mouth for a winger when a 9 is so much more needed. Savio is a project, Kudus is very good, and I hope he overcomes the injuries. Senesi impressed me, and Tonali finally had a good game. Gray is generational, and needs to be playing in midfield. Once the attack clicks the relgation scare will be over. You need a 9 in January, maybe Mateta. Spurs fans love to reminisce about Poch ball, but that style only thrives if you have generational finishers, ie Son, Kane, and Dele. Otherwise, get ready to speak in draws. Overall, the first half was a good Spurs exhibition, lots of good football with very poor execution. The second half was a good United exhibition. Lots of bad football with flukey goals. #CarrickIn

Tottenham
Lecce1 - 2Bologna

Serie A shenanigans season 6 episode 6: Alright… Bologna is alive, and well. I hadnt heard from them since a while ago but finally they gave signs of life. (Would be shameful if they dropped points tho👀)

Bologna
Como0 - 0Roma

Two of the best attacking sides in Serie A producing the first 0-0 draw of the league was pretty anticlimactic. The first half was pretty cagey, with both teams pulling their punches. Both teams played intricate little passes but were unable to break the deadlock. Then the Wesley challenge (which should've been at least a yellow) at the end of the first half felt like a trigger for an entertaining second half. Malen pulled off that stupid challenge and deservedly got a red. Como should've done more with the numerical advantage they had. Gollini made some pretty neat saves to save Roma, but Como lacked their usual scoring touch. Felt like Cesc made his first changes very late, and by the time Baturina and Rodriguez entered, there wasn't much they could do. Serie A title race is crazy. 🔥

Roma
Como0 - 0Roma

i can’t lie, despite the game ending in 0-0 - this was pretty entertaining, especially to see both teams fighting for their lives and getting nothing out of it ! my favourite part was when the refs were being subbed out 😭😭😭
Como0 - 0Roma

How many times has this match left you edging?

Como0 - 0Roma

just why guys why ruin the spotlight of the love for the seria a😔😔

Como0 - 0Roma

Last month I said to myself that I was going to watch whenever these two sides met. That day was today and unfortunately it was at 3:30 am.😭😭😭 It was also unfortunate that there weren’t any goals but for a 0-0 match, it was quite entertaining.
Como0 - 0Roma

Serie A shenanigans season 6 episode 4: ALL THIS HARD WORK. ALL THIS HARD WORK I HAVE PUT IN THIS GODFORSAKEN APP TO UPLIFT THE ITALIAN LEAGUE AND SHOW PEOPLE WHAT THEY DONT WANT TO SEE ABOUT SERIE A… 😭😭😭 ALL OF IT GONE DOWN TO THE MOTHERFVCKING DRAIN because Roma and Como decided to lose all their shooting abilities when it mattered the most and decided today was the day for the wicked 0-0. When the unstoppable force met the immovable object, they DID deliver pure entertainment but HAS IT EVER OCCURED TO YOU THAT YOU NEED TO FINISH THIS SHIT😭😭😭 Also wtf was that referee substitution?👀
Como0 - 0Roma
Both Como and Roma players avoided the goal like it was made out of lava

Sad day for all my fellow Dutch friends

Ajax
Osijek1 - 3Istra 1961

Definitely our best game this season. Truly an incredible performance from everybody on the team. Osijek's excellent early goal from free kick kinda threw us off but soon enough we locked in and put on a show. We were so good when we had and didn't have the ball. We truly gave Osijek no chance for another goal. Kumar and Nasraoui put one hell of a shift to make it stay that way. About the goals...truly every single one is so damn good. For the first goal, Frederiksen threw a long ball towards Maurić and Maurić while falling managed to send a rocket in the goal. Škafar Žužić is so incredible and he deservingly snagged his second goal of the season here. He puts his all in every game and he is only 17! Truly talented kid. At half time I was sad that Maurić got injured and had to go off but Ahmeti put one hell of a shift. His goal was the final nail in Osijek's coffin it was simply brilliant, he went through 5 Osijek players like it is nothing. So nice to see us score in the last minutes of the game instead of conceding. Fun fact: in the last 11 times we played against Osijek, they won only once and it happened earlier this year. We have become such a pain in the ass for them 😁 So proud of this team and for the work they put in for every game. I really hope we start winning more often because we have the talent and the quality. FORZA ISTRA 💚💛

Barcelona3 - 0Getafe
My thoughts and feelings towards Hansi Flick summarized ever since he joined FC Barcelona on 29th May, 2024, via the lyrics of 'Daylight': "I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you I don't wanna think of anything else now that I thought of you I've been sleeping so long in a 20-year dark night And now I see daylight, I only see daylight"

Barcelona

an enjoyable aston villa watch! does anyone know if the world is ending

First half was a crazy battle from both teams, think we definitely should've been 2 or 3-1 up by half time if it wasn't for Kelleher. Mings vs Thiago was literally a Trash vs Garbage matchup, love Mings but how many times do I have to say he's not good enough for us anymore. Standout players for us were Jackson, Manzambi, McGinn, Gomes and Lindelof, but Kelleher was the difference in why Brentford walked away with a point so he's my MOTM. Many positives to walk away with despite 2 points dropped, but we're still winless at home which needs to change. Referee was absolutely woeful, supposed to be a crackdown on the throw ins but Kayode had about 20 minutes of the match with the ball in his hand. Thought he gave many soft fouls for both teams too. Also, Janelt easily could've been sent off for 2 yellows after the referee forgot he made a pull back before an advantage was given. Typical Premier League refereeing.

Genoa2 - 1Fiorentina

Serie A shenanigans season 6 episode 1: WE’RE BAAAACK😍😍😍 but fiorentina isnt… Genoa did a good game maximizing from it, good enough to kind of bring them back on track and i feel sorry for underestimating them this match. BUT OH MAN FIORENTINA…

Genoa
West Ham1 - 1QPR

Unreal performance from Charles today. QPR escape out with a point thanks to a questionable penalty call for QPR.

QPR
West Ham1 - 1QPR

As much as QPR got an undeserved penalty for their goal, I thought this was a fair result in the end. West Ham were really poor, they can't rely on Bowen for everything. Pierce Charles is some keeper, 4 clean sheets for Northern Ireland in the international break with a penalty save - and now another penalty save to get an away point against a strong side. Surely QPR will be up there still at the end of the season, they look very solid defensively.

I know this isn’t your last game ever, I know you’ll walk into Miami’s facilities and conducts business as usual. But there will be a piece of you left at Estadio Monumental. That’s what I’m scared of, you’ve always put your country first and rightly so. I’m afraid that without that drive for your nation you’ll leave us sooner rather than later. It pains me knowing that you’re just 4 hours away and I can’t be there every game to see you. Currently on crutches re-learning how to walk for the second time this year has sadly has kept me from going to see you play live. But the same motivation you gave me that drove me to get back on the field so many times before will be the same to motivate me to make that 4 hour drive and see you play again. My first time ever seeing you play I genuinely cried. Seeing the idol I grew up watching the greatest of all time standing just a couple yards away from me. It was like I had an endless amount of adrenaline. Though it was cut short due to an injury I will never forget that day and I don’t regret it for one second. You’re officially halfway retired and rather than lay here and cry listening to your voice crack trying to keep it together I just want to smile. Smile and thank you for all the memories, for all the hope, and for every fucking second I was able to watch you play. I want to thank God himself for not only giving me life on this beautiful planet with all these beautiful people, but for also giving me life during the same time as you to have the chance to witness you play this beautiful game, for making me fall in love with this sport, making me a Barcelona fan, and making me your fan. Leo thank you for everything you’ve done for every single person. I will be seeing you soon I promise you that. Hasta Luego Leyenda. 🐐🤎

Messi, muchas gracias por todo. Ever since I laid my eyes on you on July 9, 2014, during the 2014 World Cup match against the Netherlands, I couldn’t stop thinking about you. I never really came from a football family, but I fell in love with the way you moved with the ball, so elegantly, so effortlessly, and so out of this world. At the time, I happened to be vacationing in the Dominican Republic, and I remember hearing the Argentine supporters singing and chanting. There was something about that atmosphere that captivated me. Instantly, I fell in love with football, and I decided I would follow you throughout your career. After the World Cup ended, I started supporting Barcelona. And just three years later, I got to see you play in person during the 2017 El Clásico friendly against Real Madrid here in Miami. I still remember what it felt like to see you standing on that pitch in front of me, the player I had spent years watching on a screen was suddenly right there. Since that day in 2014, so much has happened. I watched you experience the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. I watched you win everything there was to win, and I watched you endure moments when it seemed like the one thing you wanted most was always just out of reach. But you never stopped. And then came 2022. I don’t think I will ever be able to properly put into words what it felt like watching you lift the World Cup. After everything you had experienced with Argentina, seeing you finally become a world champion felt incredibly personal, even for those of us watching from thousands of miles away. You gave me memories I will carry for the rest of my life. You made me fall in love with football. You introduced me to Barcelona, to Argentina, to the beauty of this sport, and to a culture and community I may have never discovered otherwise.
