🚨Pina Colada masterclass at the El Classico🚨 (I know I'm late with this review sry 😔) -The defense was absolutely incredible all game no complaints from me. Van Asten is definitely our best signing this summer and is more than a suitable replacement for Mapi Leon and our fullbacks were just terrorizing both wings all game and had Madrid's front three in jail. Cata Coll was barely tested because of our incredible defense 👏👏👏 -Our midfield did a masterful job of moving and taking care of the ball and due to this Madrid's midfield couldn't get on the ball and when they did they were immediately hounded and dispossessed. A great job by Patri with two assists and Clara orchestrating the midfield in this regard. A special shoutout need to be given to Sydney Schertenleib, she misses easy ass tap-ins but scores one of the most difficult goals I've seen this season (men or woman) this season so fairs to her 👏👏👏. Her aura farming with Yamal's corner flag celebration was a special highlight for me personally. -And finally the attack and Pina honestly had a Messi-esque performance with four goals in the first half. If she can give us this goal scoring during the UWCL KOs that would be great 👍. Pajor and Hansen putting the cherry on top with their goals and assists Best game of the season for sure 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

The offside trap worked brilliantly in the first half and great cameo from Aiicha too 👏🏿 Sydney needs to be moved back to the midfield ASAP, her immense talent is being wasted as a fullback. -This midfield is all over the place lol, we did do a good job of playing through Roma's compact defense and Serrajordi has a fan in me for life. Just wish we where a bit more direct in our build up play tho. -We unironically have the best attack in the world currently with Hansen bagging two goals, Pajor with a goal and an assist, Pina with a brace as well (don't want to see her ever play CAM again tho). The only problem is that we just aren't playing enough with Kerolin, she was basically isolated and barely did anything all game, we need to get her more involved in the game. The kids got some minutes under their belt which was good, Aitana cameo which was good to see In summary, good game team 👍🏿👏🏿

But we do have our starting rb away at the u20 world cup (and doing well btw) and while Sydney is doing a fine job there, that's clearly not her natural position and you can tell. We need more discipline at the back otherwise every Champions league game will be a basketball game and you don't want to do that especially with the better teams. -On a more positive note our front three cooked today with Pajor getting 3 g/a (2 goals, 1 assist), Caro also getting 3 g/a (2 assists, 1 goal). Kerolin finally got the first goal of the season which was good to see (hopefully first of many) and that's why I'm holding off on any serious criticism of her until next year, this is clearly an adjustment period for her rn. -The midfield had a mixed game today, provided two assists and the offense firepower was much appreciated but they also gave away the ball too many times and very cheaply it should be said as Paris Fc's press was suffocating us in the last 15 minutes and we couldn't build out from the back. Giving the team some slack because half of the team is currently injured lol.

Sevilla1 - 3Barcelona-Raphinha is the best in the world, had a perfect hatrick today, one with his left, one with his right and one with his head. -Yamal finally remembered that he's the best chance creater in Europe, great job especially on the second assist to Raphinha. -First half, outside of Raphinha, was atrocious from the team. We got baited into a basketball game with Sevilla and ended up conceding a cheap ass goal. -The second half was much better from the team, we actually slowed down the game and retained possession which we didn't do very well last season thanks to our summer marquee signing Rodri. -This game showed exactly why we signed Rodri, he made a key defensive interception at the end of the first half to deny a counterattacking opportunity to Sevilla. Then in the second half he once again positioned himself in front of the defense and dictated the tempo of the game, handing off the ball to the wings for Yamal and Gordon. -Speaking of Gordon, he didn't have a good game today, was basically invisible on the right wing and was getting dispossessed way too much for my liking but I did like how he didn't force the issue and just handed off the ball to the midfield. -Pedri and Fermin didn't have a good game today, Fermin was invisible and Pedri missed a point blank shot on goal and didn't do much after that for the rest of the game. -Our new backup keeper did well today, the goal he conceded was not his fault, his build up and on ball play could use some work but other than that not a bad day at the office tbh. -We need defensive reinforcement in January because we cannot be going into the UCL KO's with a back line of Garcia-Cubarsi-Christiensen-Cancelo. This is not a UCL winning backline period.

He was terrorizing the left side of the field and his assist to Yamal after running down the entire field was so beautiful man 💫 🪄 -Lamine missed a pen but bagged some g/a at least, mixed game from him. Did everything well other than missing the pen and being offside with the first goal he scored -Good cameo appearance from balde, his weak foot has improved immensely and has unlocked the pausa trait lol. Looked rusty and nervous tho but that's to be expected. The Camp Nou cheering his name when he came on was a nice moment and he couldn't hide his happiness. Hope Flick actually plays him more this season in order to prove himself -Cancelo randomly turning into Prime Roberto Carlos by scoring two out of the box worldies was a welcome surprise -Midfield had a quiet game today, didn't really do anything lol -Joan Garcia got injured towards the end of the first half and Szczesny had to actually do his job for once. So this guy decided to troll and give away a free goal smh 😭 ✌🏿 -The defense however is still an issue because Racing only had two serious attacking opportunities and they scored both, Flick has got some more work to do to whip this defense into shape because any serious attacking team would have scored a lot more goals

Alright this review is a bit long winded so please forgive me: – Adeyemi covered up his poor performance with a goal, he doesn't have the same instinct and ability to link up with his teammates like Anthony Gordon. – Speaking of AG, our overall play is so much better with Anthony Gordon. He is very good at linking up with his teammates. – Pedri played well. His substitution by Hansi Flick is a statement that we will no longer have a problem if he gets injured. – Lamine is my man of the match. – Rodri with another masterclass. He will go down as a very good signing for us. – Cancelo will give Xavi Espart a tough time to stay the starting rb. He is so good. – I think Hamza needs to start playing with Barça Atlètic again while training with the first team. Keeping him on the bench does no good for his development. – Gabriel Jesus is showing signs that he is probably not (completely) finished, like the Premtards were saying. -"Kounde" wallah, the less said about him the better. The goal conceded came from him switching off mentally. - Our defense clearly still needs some work though I'm hopeful that it will improve as the season goes on as they play more games together. – Shout out to Raphinha, Anthony Gordon, Cubarsí, and Christensen and obviously Lamine.
