and so, just like that, it ends. 104 games. staying up until the sun rises to watch our beautiful sport, because we all know these moments would never come back. last minute goals, heartbreak, triumph, relief, pain, and so many other emotions we all went through this past month; watching it with all of you made it all the more special. i don’t think my vocal chords will recover any time soon, but i wouldn’t trade it for anything. and what a world cup this has been. this is not just a game. it’s a language, a bond, a medium we all share. it doesn’t matter where you’re from, we all become united through this game called football. as beautiful as it was, the world cup is always a time to reflect on those who are no longer with us. we all carry the memories of the people who should have been sitting beside us, enjoying this tournament; this belongs to them just as much as it does to us. thank you for sharing your passion with me. now, we can all finally rest.

Insane that I wrote a whole paragraph about Messi, how he changed my life and they way I see football and he still made the way to surprise me even more. Leo Messi, you’re insane. My dream about Argentina and Spain playing together came true. Culés, Sunday is our day. Let’s enjoy it while we can.

Okay to draw against Spain is insane but we can say it’s a one time thing, but to draw again against Uruguay after you’ve scored first then comeback while you were losing is actually a shock at least to me 🤯 Cape Verde proved that ambition and teamwork > quality and names. From what I saw I highly doubt them losing the next match tbh, shout out for Bubista’s squad for remembering us that nothing’s impossible in football and this is why we love this game .. 🇺🇾🇨🇻

1st ever World Cup game attended! I can’t express how extremely grateful I am to go to one. The sights, the sounds, the atmosphere, the emotions - everything felt heightened. I came into this match as a neutral, leaning a little bit in favor for turkiye bc of my Turkish friend who, because of him, my friend and I were able to attend. As a football watcher and enjoyer, who could ask for anything more from this match. I can imagine watching on tv/screen is one thing, but watching this live felt surreal. So many frustratingly close calls for turkiye that at some point it felt like it was like fate told them they’re not meant to go through with this world cup. Witnessing conmebol football culture in person is definitely not for everyone bc wow, usually I’m ok watching it at home on a screen but watching and being part of the shithousery in person is something else and I cannot be anymore happier about it. FOOTBALL/FUTBOL IS LIFE BABY! Some pics too! Wish I could write more to review.

we saw pep come to manchester with his style that everyone doubted and leave manchester as arguably the greatest manager to grace the premier league we saw bernardo come to manchester doubted with his undersized figure and leave manchester as one of the greatest premier league midfielders of all time we saw john come to manchester growing up undersized and doubted and leave manchester as one of england’s best centre backs we saw pep bernardo and john become centurions fourmidables and treble winners "we see things they'll never see" these are those things 🩵
