Inter3 - 4Club Brugge KV
As an Inter fan i am dissappinted in the defending, the quality in attack and the mistakes... ridiculous mistakes. If I was acting neutral what a brilliant game really, both defences exposed, El Toro should have had an Hattrick or more instead of Tresoldi but it was his night. Sommer was reminding us of what we had he was superb. Forbs his electric pace was turning our left side inside out. Very impressive and a deserving win based on the quality difference. Maybe should have had it wraps in 1st half but 2nd half Brugge came out fighting and the better side..... no wins since January in UCL. No wins at home in UCL in 4 games. Dissapointing Stats here. Shaktar next at HOME time to recover and pick ourselves back up.
Club Brugge KV
Lens0 - 2Sporting CP
The score really didn't reflect the game at all. Lens should have been more clinical on the night, Thauvin can't do it all! On the counter they struggled with Sportings Pace but it really was a game of who's more clinical and clearly Sporting were the better.
LensLiverpool0 - 3Man City
We had this game till that red card and it was all downhill from there.... playing with ten and Doku coming on is hell. unfortunate decisions against us and City are still undefeated. Hurts bit more as it was at home.
Man CitySt. Pauli2 - 0Karlsruher
Great Result Pushes Pauli up the table. Both teams posses similar qualities but it was just Pauli more Clinical and Smarter within Possession today. Ceesay another goal he slowly becoming a cult hero but he defo needs somebody more competent besides him. Thank God for Ben Voll I feel i say that every Pauli game but he genuinely stops a goal every week. As much as i liked Vasilj he did make consistent mistakes which didn't give me faith in him as i do have in Voll. Anyway play against Marcel Hartel next..... my goat!
St. Pauli
Dortmund2 - 2Werder Bremen
what a great last 15 minutes. 1st half was just Dortmund being patient trying to find a way through and they didn't really deserve the draw but in typical Dortmund fashion they bottled a 2-0 lead with 7 min to go.... for Fullkrug to score the equaliser at the end was cherry on the top. Explosive Ending so happy International is over now and the Bundesliga is back
Werder Bremen
Argentina3 - 0Benin
The game wasn't even that important, today was Messi's day. Even in his last performance for Argentina he carried them to victory with 2 assist and a penalty just showed how Messi been his entire career at Argentina. Little glaze for my goat Nico Paz what a goal he came on and most definitely helped. The game was a little emotional before the start but once it ended it hit me that this is genuinely the last time I will see Messi in an Argentina shirt. This man has genuinely kept Argentina at the very top of national football and will never ever be forgotten. The greatest to do it. Lionel Messi The Goat.
Argentina
England3 - 0Czechia
It was all about Harry Kane today. Joint record appearance maker and top scorer for England. Helped us to a comfortable win. We looked better. Cmon Harry on course to becoming our greatest player!
England
France4 - 1Belgium
Zizou side were dominate throughout. The goal Belgium scored was superb the ball from lavia and finish from Lukebakio shouldn't be forgotten but it will now because that late onslaught from the supersubs. Every goal contribution came from the subs. Olise Doue & Cherki were electric and the finishing blow for Belgium. As always its scary the team France are going to have. If it wasn't for that superb end to the game i would have gave massive credit to Yoro who was a brick wall today. Nevertheless with 13 mins to go France went 1-0 down to 4. Italy vs France next if everyone fit thats going to be good. DID YOU SEE THAT TOUCH FROM ZIZOU, will never lose that magic.
France
Rep. Of Ireland1 - 1Israel
Felt like Ireland game of the past this. Extremely Scrappy. Dire first half but game picked up 2nd. Not as clinical as in the revese fixture and felt should have won this but a point a point and we are still in the fight to get into Group A. Idah most definitely had a stinke unfortunately. Got to get result against Austria and beat Kosovo now along with relying on results elsewhere but either way massive progress from Ireland.
Rep. Of Ireland
Croatia0 - 7EnglandOut fucking Standing. No threat from Croatia at all and nothing much defensively. Massive Drop off today from them. Jude was pulling the strings, darting past dedenders and was sending the whole Croatian defence into Frenzy. Its quite the contrast from the previous game against Czechia Even tho he didn't get the full 90 like Jude, Gordon was superb today, nobody was stopping him, perfect runs, creating & using space effectively SHOULD have had more than the goal and assist but otherwise outstanding. I don't remember us ever battering a top side ever so its even more impressive for me. Lets see if we can keep it up for the rest of the games. Spain will be the test at the end.
England
Germany2 - 0Serbia
Most were superb today for Germany. Woltemade was a let down but today Germany were allowed to play. Serbia was soo poor they are lucky Petrovic was on top of his game otherwise this would have been a battering. Flo was outstanding, looking like his Leverkusen self once again hopefully he picks up where left off this international break for Club. Phillip Treu my goat has definitely semented himself at fullback and I could never be happier. The Young Bayern Midfield looked way more fluid and gave the team so much more balance than Kimmich & Nmecha.... food for thought. Will be interesting to see how Germany do for the rest of these Nation League Games. For Klopp sake I hope they win the rest.
GermanyCzechia0 - 2EnglandA wins a win but fuck me we are so boring.... I didn't even celebrate the goals cause I was half asleep. Now its over I'm awake great. Gordon did look superb.
England
Jamaica0 - 1Honduras
Piss Poor from the Reggae Boyz. Once again no creativity, they pass like a Sunday League Team. Honduras looked way better on the ball and set up in a great defence shape which Jamaica could not Penetrate after they went 1-0 up. Its terrible how Jamaica actually is as they got so many great individuals. Even after having the man advantage it was like Jamaica had the red card. Boring and incredibly worrying as every game Jamaica seem to be on the decline. Credit to Honduras haven't beaten Jamaica in 13 years and puts in a performance like that.
Honduras
Netherlands1 - 1GermanyFirst half all the drama happened, injuries, controversial goals being ruled out and scored & a shocking Adeyemi miss. 2nd half it was all the dutch and they scored a brilliant goal to get the goal they deserve. I think Klopp would leave that bit happier as i did think the dutch edged it and should have won. Great goal at the end to tie the game from the Dutch.
Germany
Bournemouth0 - 1LiverpoolDecided i wanted to watch in a Liverpool Fan Pub in Fulham on the day Fulham play United... what happened was I couldn't even come in because it was Fulham Matchday (as I thought and called twice beforehand with no answer) Was told to go to Pub across the road which I did as I didn't come all the way to Fulham to NOT watch our game.... Pub full of United fans. The game was actually boring af and if it wasn't for the chanting united fans I'll probably fall asleep. Once again a great display from Jacquet genuinely feels like when Virg first came to us so composed for such a young lad especially as its first time in prem. Game was even more dissapointing as at the same time was the City vs Sunderland 5-3 WHICH THE PUB TURNED OFF AT 1-1!. At least we won but the game was so shite it forgot we got 3 points. As much i am glazing Jacquet MOTM goes to Ali for that superb quick reflex save. At 33 soon to be 34 he is still on top of his game. Would have drew another game if it wasn't for him. Glad Isak scored. Hate that we got a long International break now it may fuck up our rhythm.
Liverpool
Dynamo Dresden1 - 2Hertha
Dresden started off well and got a well deserved goal but after Thornsteinsson brilliant equaliser it was all Hertha. Second half Dresden couldn't replicate anything instead we see Hertha come alive once again. The seem unbeatable at the moment. Absolute Stonker from Thornsteinsson put Hertha Top and first side to win first 6 in 40 years. Could this be the season they come back up,i hope! They've been one of the most entertaining sides this season.
Hertha
Roma2 - 2InterNot a great start at all. Kone was bossing the midfield and bossing in attack was worried. Came out firing second half thank god for El Toro comes up clutch when needed most. Fair result for how each half went.
InterLiverpool3 - 1Tottenham
Watched in Pub with mi friend who came over from South Africa!!! It was a game of amazing strikes I thought it couldn't get better than Maccas but wow Gerrard Spirit jumped into Dom!!. Glad we are through to next round ofc but extremely impressed with the Work Rate today Trey did well along with Koumas. It was Macca who comes out on top, since it came out about his contract he has been inform maybe we should delay it if he gonna keep this up! Spurs defo need a striker.
LiverpoolInter5 - 3Udinese
From The dread of thinking we was going to battered to the comeback, the quality of goals and the outstanding performance of Nicolo Barella MY GOAT made this one of the most entertaining games I've watched so far this season. Defensively shocking again from us but we got the win and thats all that ever matters. Superb 2nd half. Forza Inter!
Inter
Como2 - 1Parma
Near perfect performance for Como just a slight loss of concentration at the end.
Como
Sassuolo3 - 2Juventus
What a great end to end game. Really Sassuolo deserved the win as Juve lacked all over the pitch but Zhegrova gave them hope! That last 20 minutes was hectic af but I am so glad ADZIC got the winner. Juve own player scoring the winner with the last touch of the game. Couldn't write it.... magic. Haven't celebrated so hard when not supporting my team in a while. CMON SASSUOLO MERDA JUVE
Sassuolo
Man United0 - 1Man Cityif I'm being honest it was quite a shite game. United dropped off massively after Cities Red Card which doesn't even make sense. Bruno should have been booked for instigating Foden Kick. I needed a draw but VAR (still yet to understand how) decided to give a goal. City played well with 10 men or United played so bad it seemed United had a sending off. Either way its City & Arsenal at the top again. Simply because that save at the end won City the game. Donnaruma is my MOTM wasn't any outstanding performances but he made sure City got them 3 points.
Man CitySt. Pauli1 - 0Wolfsburg
CEESAY EXCELLENT HOLD UP PLAY HELPED US WIN, HAD A FEW SHOTS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON TARGET. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU START YOUR BEST PLAYERS (CEESAY & FUJITA) DEFENSIVELY SUPERB WOLFSBURG HAD NOTHING FOR US. FINALLY A WIN THANK GOD! HAVEN'T BEEN THIS HAPPY SINCE FEBRUARY, BLOODY FEBRUARY.
St. Pauli
Köln1 - 1Werder BremenKoln should have been 2-0 up by the end of the first half and paid for their indecisiveness. Bremen came out looking rejuvenated and got their well deserved goal through no other but King Fullkrug. Koln could be dissapointed but both sides can take a few positives from this. WELCOME BACK WEISER!
Werder BremenLiverpool0 - 0Fulham
Absolute shite. There was no creativity today, genuinely felt like Arne ball. The only positives I can think of is we didn't lose or concede. Jacquet seems to be the only consistent in this side. Fair play to Fulham kept it tight in 2nd half and we struggled. Feel for the home fans. 3 draws 1 win..... not good enough but isn't dreadful. Tottenham next we can't draw that....
Liverpool
Bochum1 - 1Greuther Fürth
Bochum bottled the chances to get their of getting a first home win, should have been over in the first half. Subs for Furth changed the game in second half and they got their well deserved goal. Both teams were off it especially Bochum. PROPER Bochum Job today.
Greuther FürthComo4 - 1RB Leipzig
Vintage Como. From start to finish (besides that mistake) they dominated on the ball and off. It was what we see week in week out in Serie A. Baturina & Diao were my MOTMs at first half but bow down to the King Nico Paz. The future of Argentina. Magic in his boots. Credit to Ramon another solid defensive performance. This team is special. They were near perfect today. Leipzig poor. Gave up so much space especially down the channels to a team who thrives in that department. Shocking stuff. I don't think Demichelis will last long.
Como
Fenerbahçe1 - 1RomaQuite Dire Performance from Roma. No Creativity up top even with Soule and Dybala Starting. Cristante scored a great goal but that was really it for Roma. Fenerbache came out firing in 2nd half, they created more could have scored more and probably deserved a win in the end. Archie Brown was absolutely superb attacking and defensively, has every attribute you want in your fullback nowadays with the added height which helped massively when Roma started desperately whipping in crosses. Surprisingly Dissapointing from Roma.
FenerbahçeLiverpool2 - 1Atletico Madrid
Llorente got his goal which seems to be inevitable at this point when he comes to Anfield but after that Atleti didn't really offer anything in attack. We let them have possession as they wasn't nowhere near as threatening as they were on the counter and we grew into the game. Second half way better and 2 great goals won us the game.
Liverpool
Barcelona5 - 1Feyenoord
Raphinha is back. Attacking wise Barca are never a doubt but there were a few times Feyenoord slipped through better quality and scoreline wouldn't have much difference. When in Possession there was no taking the ball off them and they were quite clinical. Raphinha and Pedri is deadly. Probably favourites right now. Lets see how they do in MD3 when they play somebody on their Level.
Barcelona
Real Madrid2 - 1InterInter played extremely well, better side but just stopped by the brick wall of Courtois. How many times is Madrid gonna be saved by this man. I don't what it is with Real but they always get through when playing really shite. So unfortunate for Inter but we move only MD1 i am proud of the performance but not the result. FORZA INTER.
Real MadridClub Brugge KV2 - 3Aston Villa
What a superb start to the 26/27 UCL Campaign. Great Counters from Villa and amazing passing from Pau Torres to start them. A mistake helped Villa get the third but Club Brugge did comeback fighting and probably deserved a draw in the end. Suziki also kept Villa in it. Very Entertaining.
Aston VillaJuventus1 - 1Milan
Boring. Even tho he didn't contribute to a goal it felt like Conceicao was the only player trying to do anything. Gatti with a late goal once again. I needed this result but I did not enjoy the game.
Juventus
Arsenal2 - 1Chelsea
Thought we was gonna get a really competitive game after that Rodgers goal but nope once again it was just another classic Arteta Arsenal performance. They are efficient and they get the job done no matter how boring it may be and thats admirable.
ArsenalHertha2 - 1Magdeburg
Another Banger game involving Hertha. Brekalo showing that promise he had at Wolfsburg every matchday. Captaincy must have added another level to his game. Magdeburg played well and didn't get the result they deserved but superb 2nd half from them unfortunately conceding so early on and then Seguin getting sent off caused Hertha to sit back and form a wall that Magdeburg could not penetrate.
HerthaInter3 - 2Napoli
What a game. 1st half both sides wasteful but it was still end to end but that start to the 2nd half was explosive. Napoli came out firing and we couldn't handle it. Extremely poor defending but after that brilliant strike from Hojlund we got hold of the game and started to play, i didn't expect a comeback but we actually done it. The subs changed the game and credit goes to Chivu. We were more composed and less wasteful and thank god for El Toro, Captain Stepped up when needed. A living Inter Legend. Top win 9 points out of 9. Madrid Away next....
Inter
Ipswich0 - 2LiverpoolWe are so back baby. First half we was exceptional going forward wish we got a few more and 2nd half we held onto our lead with a superb defensive display, really only Limiting The Tractors Boys to shots outside the box. Gakpo is back, Isak is back, Hopefully Liverpool are back.
Liverpool
Arminia Bielefeld2 - 2St. PauliThe lack of end product is crazy, the only player who seems to be an consistent goalscorer was benched again. It makes no sense he got 5 goals in 5 games now. We really need to find the balance between midfield and attack quick otherwise this season is looking like a struggle. Result is fair as we didn't do much in possession.
St. PauliAston Villa0 - 1ArsenalMost Arsenal Performance oat.
Arsenal
Cagliari0 - 1InterStarted off so well and should have been more than 1-0 at Half time. Nicolo Barella look spectacular. 2nd half absolutely abysmal, fell too deep and let Cagliari play which they did very well. We are lucky opposition isn't as strong otherwise we could have easily lost this game.
Inter
