PSG2 - 1Aston VillaReview from the stadium, wow. So proud of this team. The fight they gave was unreal, against Europe's best team too, is even more impressive. AND to add we were missing 5 first team players, whereas they had their FULL team on the pitch. Despite the result, I feel nothing but positivity from this team. The George Hemmings and Ian Maatsen partnership was absolutely unreal. Brian Madjo an absolute tank. Kamara and Gomes were absolutely brilliant. Bizot even, fantastic. The positive adjectives for each and every player are limitless. I'm so proud of this team. May this be the beginning of a great era under the great Unai Emery. We love him to bits, we wouldn't change him for anyone. I hope we've proved a lot of doubters wrong, once again. The ceiling of this team is only held back by the PL's dodgy rules. Quick word on the referees, awful. But enough about them. This is about Aston Villa 💜💙 Congratulations to PSG, it was a great game. May we meet again 🙂↕️ UP THE FUCKING VILLA!!!

First pre-season game and what a game this was! From the start the Birmingham fans came out to support with a packed house and loud singing. Not much to go one as it’s only a friendly but I have to say we need to fully 100% back Hazma’s development, especially in a market where strikers are dire, but love to see him score 2 today! Another standout player was definitely Tunkara! Having a physical but fast player who can get away in 1v1’s has me very intrigued into the type of player he develops. With our midfield going out with injuries, I wouldn’t be mad to see him on the bench and get senior minutes when the season starts. Another player that stood out in the second half was Roony and the way our attack looked very dangerous for the first 20 minutes. Looked like everyone knew what to do when they passed to Roony with the runs and fake runs, very fun to watch. Then the player that stood out for the wrong reasons was Casado…. Honestly the only player that didn’t look the best on the field, and of course this being a friendly didn’t matter but it’s quite unfortunate to see where his development has gone. After that because Bookd is being dumb with MOMT but Tunkara has my pick! Very fun game!

First half was pretty exciting, good goal from Cincinnati as well. Columbus really had to grow into the game but were the much better side by the end of the first half. Unfortunately the second half kept the same score of 2-1 and not much happened. Most exciting part was a huge scrap right at the end with a red card too, and immediately more fights right after the final whistle lmao. Overall a pretty decent ‘hell is real’ derby, and quite heated too. For man of the match i will go with Taha (hey Taha) Habroune, he was literally everywhere, played a good game. Only 20 as well so hopefully he has a solid future ahead of him.

Argentina really had no plans aside from trying to go to pens. It almost worked if Enzo wasn’t a bozo that he is 🥸 (btw you can attach your player ratings as part of your review) Watching it in Central Park was quite unique and left with a nice tan lol Prior to the World Cup @olivia and I had foreseen an increase of users during the tournament but never expected this special community thats taking shape on the app! Having users from all over the globe supporting various of countries and clubs truly makes it such a unique and special space! We couldn’t have drawn it better! Some of the moments in chat will stay in bookd lore forever 😭😭 I want to thank everyone who has been using bookd (old/new) to share their World Cup memories! This is the end this tournament had it all Curacao scoring against the 4 time champions had me cheering like I was born and raised there Cape Verde making Argentina reach to the depts of hell to get a victory. My beautiful country 🇲🇽 giving me the most joy I’ve had watching this sport and in life finally reaching el quinto partido while also breaking my heart with a brutal loss. I will always have hate for England just for that. Germanys early exit to a team that the United States put 4 on. Neymar having his last dance ruined because his teammates can’t connect 2 passes Haaland carrying his nation on his back while Sorloth kicks at his legs. We sadly lost a player RIP Jayden Adams we may not have known much about him but he will be missed. Mbappe looked unstoppable until a smiling kid from Spain locked him up once again. Several questionable calls thoughout the tournament. But one memory I’ll always have his meeting so many people from around the world tanks to @Toni and @Olivia . Hopefully in another 4 years we’ll all still be here making the same banter and friendly trolling. Ah, the Men’s World Cup final, perhaps i will keep my review short this time. All 104 games watched, happy with that. I love watching this Spain side, it’s boring for most, but to me this is one of the most beautiful ways of playing football. The way they confidently pass the ball around with no fear, despite this being the biggest game for every single one of them, is just amazing. Really unfortunate to have Licha get injured, one of the best players of Argentina this tournament and so important for them. Spain had Argentina by their throats though for the first 45 minutes. 0 shots, 0 shots on target, no chances created, blah blah blah a lot of zeros for Argentina in the first half lmao. Really high intensity from a defensive perspective though of Argentina. Second half was more of the same, quite some chances for Spain but everything being shot straight at Dibu. Ref was really in control of the game though, he deserves his praises as well. What a way to fuck it up though from Enzo Fernandez, incredibly stupid challenge when you’re already on a yellow. Actual idiot. Great save from Dibu in the last minute though, good game from him. After 90 minutes 15 shots to 0 shots lmao. Argentina the first team to have 0 shots in 90 minutes of a World Cup final. Disallowed goal was weird, I’d probably agree with the ref but it was a bit weak. Weird Eric García and Zubimendi got subbed on, both had made 0 minutes all tournament. What a shot from Ferran Torres, all the slander this tournament but he does it when it matters most, incredible. Man of the match has to be Pau Cubarsí, insane performance and only 19. Lastly i really want to thank everyone who have liked my long ass reviews the past month and the kind words too, genuinely means a lot to me to be able to say everything i have to say about games and people actually reading that all ❤️❤️❤️. The world cup final is over. This tournament has been incredible, and this community has made it far more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in this incredible community. I have loved posting my penguin GIF throughout the tournament. Thank you for making posting a short clip of a penguin kicking a ball infront of a second tier spanish side's badge special. I was born in Sutton on October 7th, 2006. Just under two years later my brother was born, and a year after that we moved to South-West London, where I have lived ever since. I may not be a Castellon fan, but I am an Arsenal fan, like my brother and my parents. We sit and watch all of the matches together, unless we're at the Emirates. I was introduced to Bookd by my brother. I saw him talking on this app and it looked intriguing, so I asked him what the app was, and I downloaded it. Thank you, @elz , for introducing me to Bookd. I found the penguin GIF simply by typing "football" into the GIFs tab. I am unable to recreate this. Perhaps it was fate that I found that GIF. I am 19 years old, and entering the second year of my Games Design university course at my University in central london. I have always had a passion for games.
