Unsuccessful hatewatch, still gotta rate it properly though. I don’t really know where this all came from, i know Uzbekistan are usually very good defensively but they absolutely threw it away here. I suppose it has to do with Cannavaro replacing their previous manager despite him qualifying Uzbekistan for the world cup. He pretty much plays the same way but i think for the players its also strange to kick the manager out who was successful for a Serie B reject, like hes not even asked to manage clubs anymore in the second italian division lmao (Italian football fact). Ronaldo with two goals but i will decide to say nothing about it because i have very strong opinions towards him and i do not respect him as a person. My morals cant accept it. I am interested to see how Martinez will make this Portugal team play for the upcoming games, definitely could lead to issues when they play a bigger side. They played pretty good this game but end of the day its still ‘only’ Uzbekistan and you have to take it with a grain of salt. Nuno Mendes played better than lest game as well, midfield felt a lot better in general which helped the whole team. Ill give MOTM to Mendes mostly because i dont want to give it to Ronaldo for personal reasons, and besides those two goals he didnt really do much of worth at all.
