A game of luck. Fulham were strong throughout and were rewarded with Lisandro Martinez tapping it into his own net from 8 yards. Quite comical really, but these things happen in football. United didn't really react with much quality, but finally some luck fell to them, when a late Matheus Cunha strike deflected past Leno, who was absolutely unreal today. I don't think either of these teams would be happy with a point, as a win was needed for both Arbeloa and Carrick, but a point is better than nothing. Giving MOTM to Leno as he saved Fulham plenty of times, Calvin Bassey was solid as well too.

United are so unbelievably shit they are so lucky to get a point from this. Feel for Fulham, they deserved the win as they defended very solidly and Leno was fantastic. Luckily for United Lammens kept them in it with a bunch of great saves and a big deflection at the end got them the point

Big win when everyone lost. These are the kinds of performances you need in order to win leagues eventually, and even though we’re far from that, I’m glad Iraola knew how to react once we jammed a lead. Bournemouth are a good team, probably the best they’ve ever been, and they were probably up for it after winning in Europe and facing their old boss. James Hill was their most impressive player for me, and even though Rayan was the most flashy, Christie feels their scariest. As for us, Wirtz is a problem. I like the guy, but this is arguably the closest Bundesliga style pitch in the league, and to mess up that many plays was concerning. Klopp needs to get in his ear or something, because for us to be sacrificing a body in midfield for another attacker, means he had to do more. Same goes for Barcola, although he did have more moments today. Isak is nonexistent in general play but he’s at four goals this season - he can do ballet on the edge of the box for all I care, as long as he sticks it in the back of the net. Gakpo is playing like 19/20 Gnabry, simply unplayable, dribbling and jamming in the ball anywhere. Macca and Szobo will go under the radar today, as will Kerkez, but all three were really good at just making it hard for Bournemouth to play. Jacquet looks like the heir to VVD, for all the hate Hughes gets, he got that signing right. Look at Lacroix and Konsa this weekend, then look at Jacquet. The kid might surpass Varane in talent and achievement. Nyoni needs to play more. The fact he came on and we didn’t notice him, is a testament to the player he has become. To be that calm at 19, IN MIDFIELD, is incredible. He needs to be starting next to Macca. A word on Alisson. Simply the best GK in the league. How many times he’s saved us is insane, and for him to only have two leagues and a UCL is kind of disrespectful. He needs least another UCL here. Thought Iraola reacted well, closed up the team, and got us to October undefeated. Good weekend.

We scraped to a win here, but a win is a win at the end of the day. Isak and Gakpo's link-up looked strong as it has been of recent weeks and Wirtz, while still having a lot to show for himself, looked much better than usual. Barcola I admit was not great, and I was unsurprised when he was replaced by Munoz. In defence, Kerkez did not look good even as someone who has defended his recent performances. The other three of Van Dijk, Jacquet and Araujo however looked great with the latter working well to give balls to Gakpo. Alisson was also superb making some really important stops and worked well against Bournemouth's set pieces. Szobozslai is good as usual and the team looked particularly great when the midfield three had him in the 10 ahead of Nyoni and Mac Allister. I'd argue that should be our main three in midfield from here on out.

Poor game from both sides, but a good defensive performance from Liverpool and especially Jacquet got the three points for Liverpool. Gakpo was good today, mostly in second half. I think Wirtz did alright, created three chances, had a few meh passes but generally decent, not to forget 8 defcon, hes a hard worker. Bournemouth was incredibly rough im not super convinced yet, theres a decent team there but they have lost many leads and now they just djto manage to do anything really.

Not much to say about this game 😂 Isak seems to have found a bit of a rhythm finally. Bournemouth were okay, not bad but not good enough. Liverpool with better quality in the end. Jacquet was solid again so giving him MOTM.

Main game I was watching of the 3 and it was pretty dead. Most of the Liverpool team ghosting and just didn’t really do much. They did eventually get through with a win so not too bad for them. Bournemouth letting their B brothers down, still no win for them
