What is life without ball?
England3 - 0Czechia
BACK TO NORMAL FOOTBALLL YEAHHHHHH😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛
EnglandEngland2 - 3Spain
Just not quite good enough were England tonight. Sloppy defence but exciting attack. We need balance and improvement but we gave Spain a good go. Think if Kane scores his pen the game swings into Englands favour, unfortunately not and we lose once again thanks to an Oyarazabal goal however u spell it lol. INGERLANDDDDD!
England
Millwall2 - 2West Ham
A good feisty encounter between two original teams of London. Both teams gave a lot, i thought Millwall deserved the win but both looked good. First game in 13 years brought entertainment to all.
Millwall
Bristol City1 - 0Watford
Decent viewing. Watford don’t look that bad considering their injury troubles although City were great and deserved the win. A good battle, bit of drama and a class header to lead Bristol City to a win.
Bristol City
Real Sociedad1 - 2Bournemouth
Entertaining.. especially those final 10 minutes. Love seeing Tav in Europe, he was great tonight. Bournemouth were a team of 2 halves today but Bournemouth deserved the win.
Bournemouth
Betis1 - 0Getafe
Enjoyable, needed something to watch. Really enjoy Real Betis this season. A fun game overall.
Betis
Man United2 - 3Brighton
Man United bottle it again, wow! From 2-0 to 2-3 is crazy. The pressure for any player/manager is palpable in that stadium. A fun enjoyable game, Brighton were fantastic as they have been all season so far.
BrightonMiddlesbrough2 - 2MillwallWe should be better. If we keep playing games of two halves we won’t stay up there much longer. First half we were not good enough, we had to be better. Passing and passing and being predictable, it was too easy to defend. Hellberg was fantastic, subsitiutes were on point and the tactics were great. Second half was great. We moved quicker, got balls in earlier and dominated the game. Sarmiento was a game-changer and we looked very good, still undefeated at home! Cozier-Duberry was a fantastic signing, very fun to watch and MOTM for me. Just need to maintain our level through a 90 and we’ll be well in the battle for automatics. UTB!
MiddlesbroughMan United0 - 1Man City
Derby day is always fun. Foden was definitely a red. Haaland goal was offside. Enjoyable. Gotta love it! Utd don’t know how to control the end of the game, just out here flopping for the final 10 minutes. It was a good watch tho, decent.
Man City
Coventry0 - 5BrightonDecent, Coventry just haven’t done enough since being promoted to think about survival, meanwhile Brighton just went full mad mode like??? That Dunk goal was insane btw they just letting anyone score worldies wow!
Brighton
Sheffield Utd0 - 1Wolves
End to end with only 1 goal. Goal came in last minute. By cult hero. Gotta love it. Had a good time. Was writing an article whilst watching. Decent!
WolvesMiddlesbrough4 - 3Norwich
I love my football team!
Middlesbrough
Stevenage2 - 1Luton
Decent, enjoyed seeing Izzy Jones again. Think both teams played well and could’ve easily won, but it was a good viewing overall.
Stevenage
Barcelona5 - 1Feyenoord
Decent game, a little too easy for Barcelona but they showed they’re up for it this season with a decent showing. Lamine looks good, Jesus is scoring again. All very good! A paragraph for that Raphinha goal btw wow! Where are the Barca fans? The stadium looked half empty lowkey, rare sight. Off to watch some Championship now!
Barcelona
Crystal Palace3 - 0MiddlesbroughYou know we gave them a good go, considering it was our second squad. We lacked that final bit of quality that they had, there’s a clear difference between championship and premier league, but I am proud of our showing. Cozier-Duberry was the player for us today, showcased what he comes to bring at boro and looks a good replacement for Whittaker, really enjoyed our showing. Our defence was the weak point and it was made far too easy to score, obviously playing a prem team is always harder but I think we could’ve done better in defence. Not the most enjoyable match, but a good test of where we are early in the season and I don’t think the scoreline reflects the game and how we played. Can focus on the league now and joining Palace next season in the Premier League. We keep moving, UTB🔴⚪️
Middlesbrough
Bromley0 - 2AFC Wimbledon
My 50th game on bookd! It was a bad game. Wouldn’t watch again. Wimbledon just came and took the 3 points. Bromley didn’t turn up. Great monday night football viewing!
AFC Wimbledon
Birmingham2 - 2WolvesBirmingham showed a lot of fight today, and put themselves comfortably in the promotion talks. They played well, in the first half battling and taking chances whilst in the second half they absolutely dominated and put Wolves into defence mode. A brilliant showing from the blues! Wolves have been fun to watch this season, they don’t seem ready defensively but are more than ready in the attack. If a team can control the ball like Birmingham did in the second half then Wolves may struggle to achieve their automatic dreams. Birmingham 100% deserved to win today but i’m sure they would’ve snapped hands for a draw against Wolves. A good game, the last 10 were insane. Enjoyable start to a football filled sunday.
Wolves
QPR0 - 1MiddlesbroughManaged to catch the second half, we look decent but not as good as the first half from what i’ve been told. Clean sheet for Vitek, Will Lankshear can’t stop scoring! I love this football team UTB
Middlesbrough
Salford City1 - 0Port Vale
Salford and Port Vale looked almost even, a difficult cagey game that had few opportunities to score. Salford were lucky to score, the free kick was low and tested the goalkeeper who nearly got a hand to it however the ball rolled under his hand. Salford having a good bit of form as I arrive is very good, 100% win rate we take it!
Salford City
Ipswich0 - 2Liverpool
It was an okay game, an easy win for Liverpool who probably should’ve tucked this game to bed a long long time ago. Jacquet looks very good, Isak could be back, there is plenty of positives for Liverpool here but still work to do. Ipswich are not good enough yet again, these yoyo clubs need to learn to use their resources, but even prem clubs struggle against Liverpool. Better luck next time i guess.
Liverpool
Burnley1 - 1MiddlesbroughA point is a point, we weren’t at our best and need to continue to improve after a very good window. Defensively still looking shaky but theres obvious quality in the squad. I’d have took hands off for a draw against Burnley so we take it. Aidan Morris goal made the entire game for me, he’s deserved that so many times, i’m glad he had his moment. UTB!🔴⚪️
MiddlesbroughSalford City2 - 1Newport County
Good game, Salford deserved to win and played well! Nearly couldn’t take their chances but got there in the end with the help of some super subs. First game at Salford, much enjoyed and looking forward to more. MOTM would’ve been Taylor Allen but he’s not on the apps lineup, so Powell can have it instead.
Salford City
Cagliari0 - 1Inter
Serie A doing Serie A things, bit of footy on a sunday night can’t go too wrong probably wouldn’t watch again mind. Fair enough!
Inter
Tottenham0 - 2Newcastle
Spurs u are so bad wow
Wrexham1 - 2BirminghamA solid game overall. Has the little rivalry vibe and good energy throughout. Birminghams aerial ability is fantastic and almost unstoppable, even pocketed Keiffer Moore. Wrexham looked like scoring late into the game but in the end time ran out. Birmingham look good this season, with great substitutions. Tommy Doyle will be a prem player with or without Wrexham. Issa Kabore should be starting. Birmingham have a brick wall defence. Good game!
Birmingham
Chelsea2 - 0LutonI watched it. It was okay. I fell asleep before writing a review. Ok.
Chelsea
Doncaster1 - 3MiddlesbroughPretty good game, typical cup tie. A win is a win, Willy Lankshear GOAL, Kyle Joseph GOAL! Peak Sarmiento, gotta love it. Let’s keep going boro UTB!!!!
Middlesbrough
Fulham2 - 3ChelseaReally enjoyed this game.. lots to enjoy and a good few storylines, debuts and a fair few FPL points gained. Fulham: I don’t think Fulham are bad at all, they struggled to defend against one of the best attacks in the league but with players like Josh King, Oscar Bobb sct they look good for the season and ready to fight for potential european places. Their defence struggled, but they can take a lot of positives from the game. Chelsea: a really fun showing from Chelsea. They 100% have one of the best attacks in the league and looked smooth in attack and transition. The goalkeeper lets them down and I think the defence could improve. They could be up there fighting for the title, especially with a lack of europe. Hope they kick on bc of Morgan Rogers UTB!
Chelsea
Bologna0 - 1Lazio
It was an okay game. Haven’t watched Serie A in a long long time so it was different. A lot more defensive and playmaking. Lazio defensive masterclass to be studied because they did very well to hold out and win. Maybe i will watch more of this league this season!
Lazio
Rennes2 - 2PSG
Solid game overall, didn’t expect such a fight! Rennes: They were strong in possession and not afraid of PSG. Much more clinical and demanded possession. Touch to defend. Very well worked and unlucky not to win. Charlie Cresswell was a random player, didn’t expect to see him here. PSG: looked lost out of possession, the shape kept faltering. Players looked to be having a bad game, especially Vitinha and Doue who are usually fantastic. The subs helped a lot and Ferran did well to score two goals to help secure a draw.
Rennes
Atletico Madrid2 - 2Villarreal
A fun watch, Atleti still looking like they are building, some good link up play and positive steps however Villareal are no one who can roll over. The penalties were poor from Atleti, they gave away fouls that were stupid and probably could’ve won the game if they were better defensively. Some things to improve but positives to take. Both teams gave a good account, it was fun to watch!
VillarrealMan City2 - 1BournemouthUnderserved really but this is just typical with football. City look different, played different and Bournemouth looked solid all good. Maybe on the reverse fixture, City are overly lucky here. UPPA MARCUS TAVERNIER GOAL THO!!!
Bournemouth
West Brom3 - 1BurnleyA solid game overall. Didn’t expect West Brom to win at all but they look up for it so far. Burnley seem to have lost their mojo, the least hurnley team for years, can’t see them going back up this season. An enjoyable watch, what a job Morrison is doing with West Brom. Love a sunday morning championship game.
West Brom
Arsenal3 - 0CoventryTbh this game was a free hit for both teams. Arsenal expected to win and they did, Coventry expected nothing and got nothing. Arsenals play was fantastic, so smooth and fun to watch whilst Coventry struggled to create an attack. Once again a newly promoted team struggles in the first game. I wouldn’t write off Coventry immediately, it’s going to be a long and interesting season. The game died after the second goal, Arsenal impressing and gloating at how well they can move the ball, they look serious defenders of the title. Overall an okay game, one i think many could have predicted. It was fun at first but not quite the best advertisement of the league, being the first game of the season. Looking forward to more prem football. Well done Arsenal.
Arsenal
Sheffield Wednesday0 - 1Bradford
This game started fun and interesting, and worsened throughout. Started off with an end to end game that had a lot of quality. Wednesday deserved to take something from the game but didn’t take the opportunities as they came. Bradford are no team to have regrets against and both will be up there this season. I tbink the quality comes with more games under the belt, overall solid.
BradfordAtletico Madrid2 - 0Malaga
Think both teams battled well against each other in this game, with not much between them especially in the first half. Atletico had quality in depth, with their bench proving vital to the win in the end, Kang In Lee with a fantastic opener. A questionable foul saw a second goal scored from a free kick, both goals being fantastic to watch. A decent game overall, can’t go wrong on a Wednesday night.
Atletico Madrid
Cardiff1 - 1WrexhamWAS HALFWAY THROUGH MY REVIEW AND MY PHONE DIED SO IM NOT WRITING ONE. GGS GOODNIGHT😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
CardiffBurnley2 - 2West HamBest described as a game of two halves, both teams can expect to be up there at the end of the season and the quality in players, tactics and teams showed in this game. West Ham look really good, but mot even a game in have been stopped in their tracks on what looked to br a nailed in win. Hate to see Burnley succeed but they improved and grew into the game. A decent watch overall whilst redecorating the living room with my mam🤣🤣
Burnley
Sevilla2 - 1Rayo Vallecano
Spanish football is like watching English football on crack. Good game overall, fun to watch and something to keep the football watching ticking. Penalties, red cards, goals, fights this game had almost everything. May not be a LaLiga ball knowledge goat but they have a lot of old and bald men and not much quality compared to prem. Also why does disney+ just end the stream at FT and show old game highlights at half time like where is the budget. No analysis, i am mad.
SevillaMiddlesbrough2 - 1Lincoln
WOW!!! What a start to the season. Late winner to take three points at home in a manner that would have ended badly last season. Proper happy with that one. First half was shaky, boro couldn’t get hold of the ball and Lincoln wasted time and stopped momentum whenever possible. Adam Reach got his inevitable goal against us, but there was signs of positives, despite fan crashouts in the stadium. Second half was a different story, biro half control of possession a lot more and looked like scoring. Players built into the game and subs were fantastic. Willy Lankshear brace and three points is the perfect way to start and that winning goal hit like crack. UPTHEBORO🔴⚪️
Middlesbrough
