You have the BEST players in the world and it feels like a bunch of looney tunes having them paired with players who disrupt the play. I’m not even trying to “ooooh Ferran is the worst”, I’m genuinely disappointed he played for so long cause it disabled this game.

Italy are seemingly unsaveable. This was their moment to restart a new era with flying colours but they got everything wrong tonight very disappointing. More boos for Barella again, another night to forget for him in an Italian shirt. If it wasn't for Donnarumma it would've been even more embarrassing, they need to turn things around extremely quickly for at least some progress. Belgium were solid and not really threatened too much with Godts, Tielemans and Raskin the standout players. I'll give MOTM to Godts for the goal and he really threatened down that left side, probably should've got another goal though.

Where the Valencia side once lifted the Copa Del Rey, Supercopa de España, Europa League, and twice the La Liga title to only came agonizingly close to touching the covet Champion League Cup in two separate occasions. However, much like the story of Icarus, they flew too close to the Sun, and as their wings burned amid mounting debts, ruinous decision-making, and years of instability that gradually dismantled what they once were, the fall beckoned. From days of glory to seasons spent flirting with relegation, their descent could only draw haunting parallels with tales of the Nou Mestalla. And this is made all the more evident as Valencia continue to be haunted by a familiar shadow of misfortune following a string of disappointing results. Now, they are forced to armour and steel themselves against the club that Maestro Hansi has seemingly come to regard as one of his favorite victims since his debut. Where Valencia only hope is to bring a fairy-tale ending to one of football's most decadent stories.

absolutely atrocious of a match. usually GREnal derbies are quite fun to watch, so i was expecting a lot more, especially since it’s a Copa do Brasil match. the ref was painful to watch too, spent a few minutes reviewing the play just to ignore giving out a red card (or a few)… 😭
