Kansas City5 - 1Bay FC
This might be our best performance this season. Our problem has been consistency and today we had our first full performance in my opinion. Debinha finally laid those washed allegations away..

Inter were outplayed the whole match and are very very lucky to escape with a point.
Austria Wien WBay FC1 - 3Orlando Pride
stats will tell you bay should’ve won, the eyes will tell you bay should’ve won, the scoreboard won’t. that’s the thing about football man it’s all about being clinical ( @awfc ) and bay just weren’t clinical enough. bay more shots on target than pride had regular shots tells a story in itself

Italy0 - 2Belgium
Italy are seemingly unsaveable. This was their moment to restart a new era with flying colours but they got everything wrong tonight very disappointing. More boos for Barella again, another night to forget for him in an Italian shirt. If it wasn't for Donnarumma it would've been even more embarrassing, they need to turn things around extremely quickly for at least some progress. Belgium were solid and not really threatened too much with Godts, Tielemans and Raskin the standout players. I'll give MOTM to Godts for the goal and he really threatened down that left side, probably should've got another goal though.

Cannot believe City were able to come back and tie it up after going down 2-0. Bayern looked really good in the first half but the second half was just very disappointing from them

5 star performance from bay. We outplayed Louisville the whole match and we did not let our foot off the gas. not a single complaint
Bay FCArsenal W1 - 1Manchester United W
Wow.. so that was interesting. Honestly I felt united outplayed Arsenal for about 90% of the game and Sandberg absolutely pocketed Olivia Smith but minus foord the subs Renee made was really good and the difference maker.

Cruz Azul4 - 3Club AmericaAs much as I want to give this match half a star because of how terrible we played, the match was insane. This is a Clasico unlike whatever that was between Monterrey and Tigres which is why I said in the preview that this one has been one of the biggest rivalries in Mexico within the last few years. I can go on a rant about how terrible we played but instead I’ll do this: Cota: He’s the only reason why we didn’t concede more so I’ll cut him some slack. Kevin Alvarez: Terrible, horrible, affreux, schrecklich, orribile, terrível, ужасный, 恐ろしい, verschrikkelijk, 끔찍한, भयानक, 可怕, fruktansvärd, okropny, korkunç, απαίσιος, khủng khiếp, kauhea, strašný, жахливий, napakasama, and well you basically get the point here. Isreal Reyes: Love him but he was also horrible today. Ramon Juarez: I’m starting to see why Jardine would bench his dumbass. Dagoberto Espinoza: Was decent but then got injured 💔 Cervantes & Sanchez: These two CANNOT play together in midfield again. What I said for Kevin Alvarez can also be applied to him. Cervantes was the better one of the two but like the bar was so fucking low when you have Erick Sanchez next to you. Brian Rodriguez: Very threatening in attack but couldn’t cross the ball for shit. Veiga: He was our best player in that first half. Violante: He was just not good today. Henry Martin: He was actually decent but at the end of the day, he’s still washed. 💔 Subs Cristian Borja: Was decent going forward but again the guy cannot defend for shit. Icaro: So much better in midfield than whatever the fuck Erick Sanchez was doing. Zendejas: The guy has been one of our best players in recent years and he was insane when he came on. Glad he’s finally back from his injury. Perea: Came off the bench and was also insane and even got himself a goal. Miguel Borja: Made his debut and I thought he did well and was even able to get himself a goal 53 seconds after Perea’s. Absolutely EMBARRASSING performance tonight.

Atlante W0 - 1Juárez W
This is the last game for me today Im going to lay down. Wow Atlante’s keeper was unreal tonight I don’t think they had a single shot and all the way till stoppage time she didn’t give up a goal. Impressive
Club America2 - 2MonterreyThis was a very good match with lots of intensity. I really the matches had been swapped around so that this was first match so that my fellow Bookd friends who went to sleep could’ve watched and enjoyed it. 😭😭 We went down 1-0 from a shot/cross type of goal from Diego Rossi down the right wing. We then equalized it with a goal from Ramon Juarez and then took the lead 7 minutes later from a banger of a shot right outside the box. Then comes questionable decision of giving Monterrey a penalty. Orbelin Pineda dives without there being any contact between him and Kevin Alvarez. Not sure how it wasn’t looked at and disallowed but it is what it is. I thought Violante, Veiga, Cervantes, Juarez and Reyes were good today but the rest…. Cota - I think he could’ve done a better job on the first goal but one thing is for sure and it’s that he’s absolutely terrible on penalties. Didn’t even guess a single one right. I even had @jup asking me if he even tries. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Cristian Borja - Bro cannot defend and was nowhere to be seen when Rossi takes the shot for the first goal. Kevin Alvarez - Let’s keep it short, he’s shit and I’m tired of him. Reminds me of that “What does he even do?” meme. 😭 Erick Sanchez - He’s just not good enough to be our starter. Although it did lead to a goal, our second goal literally starts off from him making a pass to NOBODY. 😭 Brain Rodriguez - 👻 Henry Martin - The guy is washed and we need Miguel Borja so start playing soon. Would’ve been nice to win this tournament but it is what it is. Definitely would’ve crashed out if this was the Concacaf Champions Cup or the league playoffs. Leon vs Club America 3rd place game is the real final btw.
Club America
Santos Laguna W1 - 0Atlante WY’all snapshot this. This will probably be Santos’s last win of the campaign. Very happy for them though they did outplay Atlante.
Boston Legacy2 - 5Angel City7 goals on a monday? wow
Angel CityMonterrey1 - 3Atletico San Luis
Very fun match to watch. Lots of fouls not given and a didsalowed goal that probably should’ve stood. Monterrey were outplaying San Luis but at the end of the day, you need to score to win and well they were struggling to score. On top of that San Luis were catching Monterrey on the counters and with their defense, every counter attack was scary. 😭
Atletico San LuisKansas City3 - 2North Carolina Couragefirst half was bleak man. conceded in like the 12th minute and just never seemed to pick up after that. didn’t look like they wanted to score at all just seemed happy to lose 1-0 or concede more. next thing you know croix bethune with quite a good goal in all fairness but our defence was just sloppy, no fault of sheridan tbf was fully side netting. kcc did good to prevent ijeh and sanchez in the form they’ve been in but erica meg is just so so good! she’s our best player of the first half for sure she wins the ball back, she’s insanely good in possession she’s just a star. you can never replace manaka, but when you need to bring someone in cause she’s left, she was the perfect choice. i don’t even wanna talk about what we were doing for that third goal bro narratives gonna be that sheridan conceded three but our defence were at fault for all 3 and not kailen lol Ijeh is giving us hope in what appeared to be a very very long day! she’s been so so good lately that you do just feel a goal or assist is almost inevitable overall a much MUCH better second half and we actually looked hungry and like we wanted goals and to win this time. Sanchez looks like her usual self again and Ijeh is just immense. still think sanchez deserves mvp and the US call up @emmahayes we seemed to wake up much more in those last 5/10 minutes and for a while it genuinely looked like we would manage to get a point but i think current deserved this win POTM for me is gonna be erica meg, was there better players than her? yes, but she added more to the courage side by how good she was all game, than any of the kc current players added, partially due to them all being good that a mistake wasn’t as costly, other than the penalty. it was clear because she looked a level above the rest of the team in the first half. hard to believe she’s only 18 man, one to look out for for sure, glad she plays for my club and country!!

NJ/NY GothamNorth Carolina Courage2 - 0Angel CityI will try and write a not 3 word review today! I am very tired though so bear with me... Fair enough @scartinelli I believe the hype now, Ashley Sanchez blew that game wide open and if she keeps that up I hate to say it but the golden boot will be hers and not Barbra Banda's. Throughout the whole game her positioning was so clever and she managed to avoid a lot of the ACFC offside traps that some of her teammates kept finding themselves struggling with. I enjoyed watching NCC a lot today, my NWSL learning journey is in its earlier stages and I'm gaining a much larger appreciation for the differences between the women's and men's games. In a lot of cases, I find the women's game more exciting due to the more brave nature of attacking in a league like the NWSL in particular compared to what we see today in the top divisions of Europe in the men's game. Really excited to see more! Does Ashley Sanchez really not make the USWNT squad?
