SpainEngland1 - 2Argentinaunironically one of the most entertaining games of the tournament. two top sides and even with the messed up tactical decisions on tuchel’s side, it was entertaining to see argentina go all out with the substitutions as soon as england scored. i think on one hand, knowing that we’re near the end of messi’s career it’s almost crazy to see him perform like this. hatewatch failed, but there’s no one like him and i want to savour this to the end. in my old review i said how argentina plays may not work in the semis, i take it back — it worked. but i’m not backing off when i say that this may not work in the finals, that spain defence had managed to keep france off the rails and i can imagine seeing this work here as well. messi glaze aside this england side was a pleasure to watch. djed spence tackle alone deserves it’s own review. as a city fan though #FODENKARMA
