has to be the best world cup game i’ve watched other than the 2022 final. the story behind this is insane with the david vs goliath matchup. nobody though cape verde would have a chance at all. this game had everything you could ever want and more. cape verde now has a new fan and i will support them through future afcons and world cup qualifying campaigns. despite this loss, the whole country of cape verde should be proud of what they were able to accomplish this world cup and keep that energy and mentality moving forward.

Now time for the Australia rant: what the fuck were they thinking subbing off Beach who had looked great for most of the game and letting defenders and children take the pens.
