Brentford1 - 2Liverpool
Back to back mw where a red card dictates the outcome. A lot to like and a big win. Wirtz was really on it today. Isak back and scoring. Rio was immense once again. Can't help but look at the negatives though, seems like every time we go to the gtec we come back with injuries. Frustrating.
Liverpool
Man City2 - 4PSG
Game of two halves. PSG just too good. Doue is crazy good. Pacho immense. I thought bouaddi really changed the game for city second half. They had enough chances to get a result there. Semenyo absolutely stinking it up.
PSG
Lask Linz3 - 6LiverpoolAnnual league phase statpad. The focal point will be on barcola for his hattrick but a number of players put in big performances. Rio was immense. Tsimikas, koumas, wirtz all really good. I praised frimpong when it went 6-1 (1g +2a) just for him to be at fault for two goals in the next five mins. Obviously it's only LASK but seeing 9 goals in a game is always fun.
Liverpool
Atletico Madrid2 - 0Man United
Wasn't the best game but wasn't awful either. Definitely wasn't a red card.
Atletico MadridLiverpool0 - 3Man CityCheating bastards. Liverpool better team until the red.
England3 - 0Czechia
Rio got 20 mins so better than nothing.
England
Greece0 - 0Germany
What a waste of time. Germany controlled the game first half but looked completely lost the second half. There's still time for Germany to come good under klopp. There were a lot of glimpses of play and intensity you'd expect from his teams just about getting the consistency. Klopp giving a lot of chances to youngsters this international break so can't judge too harshly. Greece been the story of the int break. Mavrapanos so incredibly good once again. Just wish there'd been at least one goal. Germany will regret the stupid wasted opportunities from first half. Can't wait for club football to be back.
Germany
Croatia0 - 7EnglandYup. 7-0 cool. No rio though so what's the point?
EnglandGermany2 - 0Serbia
Better from Germany from minute one. Intensity was there, more chances being created, quicker on the ball. Woltemade is so unbelievably shit. How the hell is tadic still playing football? Wirtz and Scherhant were both incredible. I actually like what klopp has done with having two squads, makes it more interesting. Overall, better.
