Not sure what happened here. Glad I’m not a United fan because this was a little embarrassing. Totally disconnected football, second best over Hull City. Great start to the season for them! As for United, I’m just curious to see what happens from here on. Carrick needs a tactical miracle cause it wasn’t working today. Mbuemo was probably the best player on his side, rooting for Rashford too when he came on but seems like nobody could really do anything. Better luck next time

Tuned in for Atletico’s opener, and was almost extremely disappointed by the first half. Both teams were just playing a bit disconnected, and Atletico were constantly missing open chances, but controlling the tempo of the pitch at the same time. Cause once the second half started they were eager to score, and Kang-in definitely delivered. I was excited to see his debut and good for him to score same match. That free kick by Baena as well, ended up being a nice show of display overall.

I’m genuinely so proud of this Spanish team, I would not believe a month ago they’d be winning the cup! But I am so glad they were able to, despite the game not being the best. I think it was a good conclusion to the tournament everything else aside. In my heart though seeing them lift the trophy was truly special, and I think there’s a bright future ahead for this squad. #1 in the world 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸

Their chemistry was off and they just weren’t connecting anymore, there was all sorts of problems in the first half but if England could have just focused on link up play and getting through defense I easily believe they could’ve made a difference. But not today. Argentina is a miracle club, 100%. It’s outstanding to me how they manage to survive to the end every single time, and now it’s up to Spain. Will be seated for that final. Hoping Spain can bring home the trophy 🇪🇸🏆

I yearn for these times again, because they looked so damn unstoppable in this match. I have never seen a better performance from such a connected national team, their compatibility breathes so much and every player is putting in their own shift to make opportunities. What a masterclass. This is the Spain I need tomorrow against France, copy and paste. I know that there’s no shot they’re as good as then, or at least as confident. But I know Lamine is, and I know they are not just gonna go out easy.
