Ah, the Men’s World Cup final, perhaps i will keep my review short this time. All 104 games watched, happy with that. I love watching this Spain side, it’s boring for most, but to me this is one of the most beautiful ways of playing football. The way they confidently pass the ball around with no fear, despite this being the biggest game for every single one of them, is just amazing. Really unfortunate to have Licha get injured, one of the best players of Argentina this tournament and so important for them. Spain had Argentina by their throats though for the first 45 minutes. 0 shots, 0 shots on target, no chances created, blah blah blah a lot of zeros for Argentina in the first half lmao. Really high intensity from a defensive perspective though of Argentina. Second half was more of the same, quite some chances for Spain but everything being shot straight at Dibu. Ref was really in control of the game though, he deserves his praises as well. What a way to fuck it up though from Enzo Fernandez, incredibly stupid challenge when you’re already on a yellow. Actual idiot. Great save from Dibu in the last minute though, good game from him. After 90 minutes 15 shots to 0 shots lmao. Argentina the first team to have 0 shots in 90 minutes of a World Cup final. Disallowed goal was weird, I’d probably agree with the ref but it was a bit weak. Weird Eric García and Zubimendi got subbed on, both had made 0 minutes all tournament. What a shot from Ferran Torres, all the slander this tournament but he does it when it matters most, incredible. Man of the match has to be Pau Cubarsí, insane performance and only 19. Lastly i really want to thank everyone who have liked my long ass reviews the past month and the kind words too, genuinely means a lot to me to be able to say everything i have to say about games and people actually reading that all ❤️❤️❤️. First half went as expected for me, a attacking USA while Bosnia sits back, early on almost a olimpico from Bosnia but thats the only chance they got. Balogun with a disallowed goal but after that he did get the 1-0 finally. Only the third USA player to score 3+ goals on the World Cup, Bert Patenaude with 4 in 1930, and Landon Donovan with 3 in 2010. Second half yet again more of the same, rough red card for Balogun, i think its red but also unfortunate since he didnt mean it. But ive seen them given for less too and i think ankles and such should be protected this way. Even with 10 USA still was better. Super disappointing game from Bosnia. Made even worse when Malik Tillman scored the 2-0. I quite like this USA team, they play well and its enjoyable to watch, didn’t think id be rooting for them lmao. Bosnia never showed any intent to score, or maybe theyre just not good enough to even be able to try. Either way i expect a little bit more from them, they played like they lost the game at kickoff. USA - Belgium will be interesting and with Balogun suspended i really have no clue who i rate more. Edin Džeko is the oldest outfield player to have featured in a World Cup knockout game. Proper old timer did he even do anything this game lmao. Man of the Match Antonee Robinson for me, defensively was good and was dangerous a couple times on the offense too. Just put in a good shift and he deserves praise for that. Also another exact prediction so im still first on leaderboard, yayyyy.

First half saw a Paraguay defensive masterclass, EXACTLY what i was hyping them up for in the lead up to the World Cup. Proper shithousery too. Goal that came out of nowhere too, a perfect situation for Paraguay. Second half Paraguay REALLY sat back, but unfortunately for them also conceded there. There really isnt too much you can say about it, Paraguay defend extensively and Germany wasn’t able to create enough. Precisely how Paraguay likes it. So im not surprised it went to extra time. Paraguay have the lowest average of goals out of all countries for a reason, they can defend well even against Germany. Yes they conceded 4 against USA but i think its a mental thing for Paraguay where after they concede they make more mistakes before being able to pick it up again. USA hit them many times in a short window, Germany had more dangerous chances right after scoring too. And also, Paraguay just plays better against stronger opponents, thats just a actual fact lmao. First time extra time in a round of 32, and first time this World Cup, and what a incredible bit of drama from Tah scoring a header but after all the celebrations VAR ruling the goal out for a foul on the goalie. BBC commentators said it was ‘soft’, i think theyre stupid. You cant just push a goalie to the ground. These fouls weren’t called in the Premier League, but were everywhere else for a good reason. Good call from VAR imo who have stayed in the background quite a lot this tournament. Germany really lost their heads from it all, so incredibly mad at everything while theyre the only ones to blame on why they weren’t winning. Absolutely loved the shithousing, shameless flop in the 113th minute and it was hilarious. Also a crazy sliding from Musiala, actual leg breaker if it connects, should get a red for that ridiculous to get in like that, insane headloss. Penalties is EXACTLY what Paraguay play for and just like that Germany are OUT!!!!! Fucking scenes man. I love this sport so fucking much. (2000)

Paraguay did what they’re capable of, defending impressively and sting when it’s the right moment like they did previously in the WC. This time however, the opponent was Germany one of the best teams in the current WC and WC history and no one expected this match to go to penalties honestly. One of the craziest penalty shootouts I’ve ever seen ! Honestly what did we just witness 🤯 , the mix of emotions in the game was crazy but the penalties was something else!!! GGs nothing but huge respect to Paraguay.. 🇵🇾🇩🇪

1st ever World Cup game attended! I can’t express how extremely grateful I am to go to one. The sights, the sounds, the atmosphere, the emotions - everything felt heightened. I came into this match as a neutral, leaning a little bit in favor for turkiye bc of my Turkish friend who, because of him, my friend and I were able to attend. As a football watcher and enjoyer, who could ask for anything more from this match. I can imagine watching on tv/screen is one thing, but watching this live felt surreal. So many frustratingly close calls for turkiye that at some point it felt like it was like fate told them they’re not meant to go through with this world cup. Witnessing conmebol football culture in person is definitely not for everyone bc wow, usually I’m ok watching it at home on a screen but watching and being part of the shithousery in person is something else and I cannot be anymore happier about it. FOOTBALL/FUTBOL IS LIFE BABY! Some pics too! Wish I could write more to review.
