I doubt they can keep up the momentum with Europe in midweek, but it would be nice to see a different team get into the top 4/5. Too early for those shouts however. Pascal Gross is on exceptional form, an FPL Manager's dream! Off day for Arsenal today, they can happen even to the best of teams. I definitely think they'll be alright and the long international break will help soften the lows of this defeat. Seen plenty of Arsenal fans still optimistic though, not a result that is ideal. But it's also not doom and gloom.

No adderall today so my review will not be as in depth. Missed a few critical chances late in the 2nd half and let Freiburg come back down one twice; this will be disappointing to look back at. However with how Freiburg has been playing, if you told me we’d come out of this match with points then id be quite content. Cock and Dick (koch and onyedika) have been quite disappointing this year but we only allowed 2 goals with 4 on the backline, so I am content with that. After 4 matches so far I think will at least qualify for the conference league this season.

Far from comfortable ending but I thought we were so good in that second half. The defensive shape Emery kept us in was elite management, Suzuki, Mings, Manzambi, Jackson and Ruggeri with standout performances. Glad to get 3 points, don't care how, but the 3 points is what matters. Would've been nice to keep a clean sheet and I thought Zion deserved it for his heroics, but football isn't kind, especially to Villa 😂 Buendia with his annual Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tax collection, what a way to do it too. He didn't have a great first half but showed up when it mattered ❤️🩹 Zion kept us in the game in the first half with crucial saves, without him it would've been a different story, I feel very safe with him❤️🩹❤️🩹 UTV 💜💙

Brentford3 - 0ChelseaFirst half was very slow, which was quite expected for Brentford to ruin Chelsea's momentum. But wow, Brentford really turned the tempo up in that second half. Great counter attacking play destroyed Chelsea's defence. I think Thiago struggled quite a bit throughout the game, but he was still there to put away his chance when it mattered. Kevin Schade looked very dangerous once again, he's surely on of the fastest players in Europe, no one can catch him. Bravo to Keith Andrews for getting everything spot on, everyone doubted him when he came in, including myself, but he's been unreal for Brentford since taking over from Thomas Frank. Finally, Brentford's stand out player was Jannik Schuster, he did everything right defensively and got an unlikely assist for his brilliant efforts. Chelsea weren't at the races today, they had a few early signs of good play, but never built on it. I think they heavily missed the quality of Reece James and Joao Pedro. Welbeck is not a runner nor a link up player, he didn't suit the way Palmer or Rogers were moving. I honestly don't really know what Barco offers, but he didn't seem to be in a role that suited him today. Alonso still has a lot to work with defensively, I sound like a broken record when reviewing Chelsea, but defensively they are just nowhere near consistent enough. No clean sheets in 21 Premier League games now, it's just not good enough for Chelsea's standards. MOTM is Schuster, very good performance from him.
