Good performance, honestly a bit lucky not to have conceded there Hoffenheim had many decent chances but a clean sheets a clean sheet. 3 goals scored but honestly should've been more, we created so many chances from the wing, on another day Richi would've had a hat trick in the first half. Bergvall had a great game today, just so excellent at carrying. Bergvall, Robbo, and JPVH all look excellent with the ball at their feet but leaves a bit of defensive weakness playing them all at once. Tel MOTM for me. Moore got the brace but Tel created both chances. He's been so so good this preseason. Even today with a fairly quiet first half he comes back and does excellently to close out the 2nd.

I watched this match for 20 minutes as I was stuck in traffic. It took me 2 hours 45 minutes to drive from Buffalo to Toronto, absurd, likely would've been over 3 hours had I not had a nexus card. I finished Sheila Fitzpatrick's 'The Russian Revolution' in audiobook form during the drive, and begun Greg Grandin's 'America América'. I have attatched a photo of a store I saw in buffalo. They seem to have stolen @dylan's 'quotation gimmick'. Why is the word 'plus' in quotations? It looks so strange.

Boring as fuck match I see why everyone hates getafe. No analysis I was on my phone the whole time. Cat pictures👍

Probably our best performance of the preseason thus far in spite of the scoreline. Looked genuinely commanding in possession and excellent pressing outside of possession. A couple shots off for Sydney but outside of a terrible personal error from Takai nothing dangerous. On another day this would have been a commanding victory. Tel would be in MOTM contention regardless of his goal, scoring that stellar free kick just served to cement it. He’s looked so good all of pre-season, and combined with his good form coming off the tail end of last season I honestly would not be overly upset if we go into the season with him as our starting LW. Bergvall looks like a genuine man amongst boys today. So composed on the ball and great at both carrying and making the forward pass. I understand that with the arrival of both Fernandes and Tonali, plus the arrival of Gallagher last season there’s very little space for him in the squad, especially given his desire for game time, but I really do think we will regret selling him in the long term. Such a great carrier of the ball for his age, I really do think that eventually he will become world class. LWB continues to impress every time I see him, I genuinely believe he could be a squad player for us next season, just so talented. Can't remember the last time an academy player looked this good at this age. Richi, as much as I love him, just doesn't seem to be technically proficient enough to succeed in this system as a starter. I still think he's great as a substitute given his aerial presence and his ability to make forward runs but really do not like to see him starting.

I lowkey only watched extra time but I shall larp regardless. Good comeback from Zagreb but surely aided by the Thun red, really should not have been down 2-0 after 22' at home against Thun in the first place but that's neither here nor there. Illegal stream I was watching on didn't have a scoreboard up until the 114' minute.

Day after this match I was in buffalo and saw a guy wearing a spurs kit (lots of Spurs fans in buffalo for whatever reason). He was upset by the loss but I told him that Bournemouth are genuinely a quality side and they'll likely challenge for Europe this year, a loss against them is not neccesarily indicative of our future performances. I was 1/2 in my predictions. Bournemouth did prove to be quite good, but there was - in fact - much to be concerned about with our performances
