Man City5 - 3Sunderland
Mate these guys treat every ariel duel as if a nuclear warhead is approaching them. What the fck is Brobbey on this guy is a unit, our defence could genuinely not touch him whatsoever. City was overwhelmed in the physical battle today. On the positive side though our attack continues to flourish and keep creating chance after chance. Enzo's freekick was a beauty, Cherki did what cherki does, Ndaiye and semenyo played well on the wings too. Haaland you already know he'll get his goal, it was really refreshing to see Doku and Oreilly come on especially since Doku created the goal slipping gvardiol in for haaland at the backpost. 3pts clear before intl break 💯

BrightonMan United0 - 1Man CityMiss me with that michael carrick bs 😭😭😭 down to 10 players and city was still the better team for most of the game. Refereeing and VAR in England is deffo the worst, foden is a straight red no debate but bruno getting absolutely nothing is insane as well as the fact that united should've gotten more cards throughout this game. Enzo is clearly interfering with Haaland's goal but the outrage is so funny considering bruno & rashford done the sams thing in 2022/23 and dalot not getting a red card last season. I really liked what city did today, anderson and enzo was bossing it. Nunes and guehi put up a phenomenal display, I was a bit skeptical abt subbing off cherki for ndaiye but it was the best decision by maresca. Donnaruma may not be the best with the ball at his feet but you js cant argue abt his shotstopping, the last minute save against mbuemo omds. Bruno grenade launcher once again invisible in a big game 😅😅

Porto0 - 2Man CityHaaland, enzo, bouaddi, guehi and aitnouri when they came on take a bow man so so good. Bouaddi especially his first start for city and he dominated that midfield with ease alongside enzo, really inspirational. Need more from foden and semenyo though today was alot like a nothingburger performance from them, foden did have good moments here and there but he needs to do way more than just that. City's highline and guehi saved them alot today there were loads of shaky moments especially in transitions but allas Porto was extremely shithousery asw.
Man CityArsenal2 - 1Chelsea
Better london derby than the previous fixtures over the years, Ødegaard looks good again and put up a really good showcase in midfield. As for chelsea, they're easy food at the back and the midfield gets overrun too easily. Allat "JP Morgan" hype they were awful today

I don't want to sit through another season where we're mediocre in the 2nd half. Credit to Rushworth it should've been 2 or 3-0 for city but alot of questionable moments from Donnaruma and the backline at times. It's just September so I won't say much but hopefully maresca fixes it. Also foden sub was not the right call, he was not good 😪
