Brentford3 - 0Tottenhamdisgusting. abysmal. horrible. I don't even have words for how AWFUL that was. After a successful preseason, this is the performance this team has worked towards? That was the best they can do? All of the players were just absolutely off today, there was only one player who I thought had a good game today and that is Robertson. Bergvall and Gallagher were absolutely garbage today. Can't complete their passes, losing possession off of 2 yd passes... absolutely disgraceful. Tonali can't do anything with the chuckle brothers next to him, not that he even played with conviction today. Bentancur I dont even want to address the stupid penalty he gave away. Van hecke and Senesi looked so out of their element today. The problem with those two and Robertson is that they are so slow compared to Brentford's attacking they cannot keep up. I have nothing to say about our attack because we know they are shit and we need reinforcements. Richarlison should not be contracted by this club in the lord's year of 2026. De Zerbi also needs to hold every result that happens because this is the team He chose. The team that He built this summer. I know it is only matchday one and this is not our full strength squad, but this is appalling and very worrying. Hopefully with Savinho (possibly Marmoush) and the rest of our spine of the team coming back from injury slowly will help us get back in form. We have come 17th for two seasons in a row.
